In November of 2023, I was asked to play for a very special friend on a very special 40th occasion.  Somewhere in the Ventucupa, California desert, mixed between DJ's and Artists from all parts of the globe, I found myself setting a post-sunset tone for the limited engagement crowd of 130 people at what was known as 'The Saloon', located in a quaint boutique camp ground nestled between mountains and flat land.  What you're listening to is what transpired that evening.

Originally from Detroit, Michigan ToolPush3r is a relentless "open format" dj known for crushing dance floors with his high octane four turntable live mixes of funk-filled, tempo-pushing, bass-driven party destroying grooves.

Gran apasionado de la música desde muy joven. En su adolescencia, su influencia fueron las largas noches de escucha de progamas de  radio y las correspondientes grabaciones en cintas de casete. Más tarde comiezaba experimentar en las discotecas de la zona la fuerza que tiene la música electrónica.

A la edad de 19 años, forma entre cinco  amigos, Jesús, José Manuel, Juan Pablo e Ivan un colectivo de djs, el Conection Sound, que dinamiza la zona con los sonidos electrónicos más vanguardistas del momento, así como la organización de múltiples raves en la campiña sevillana, desde el 1999 hasta la actualidad.

Aprendiendo cada día de veteranos y de jóvenes, adaptándose a los tiempos actuales, no teme realizar sesiones de cualquier estilo y en cualquier formato, aunque su especialidad, y lo que esperan sus amigos cuando actúa, son sesiones de breakbeat melódico a vinilo, mezclando y llevando a su público al éxtasis en las horas puntas de la mañana. 

Después de compartir cabina con grandes djs en festivales locales como el Potaje Rock o el Primavera Sound, y en salas como El Latino, Pub Jorry o Natura, en Fuentes de Andalucía, Davids se centra ahora en mostrar al público sus sesiones en plataformas como SoundCloud, o Youtube, realizar diferentes programas tipo podcast, de entrevistas, el Conection Radio, Radio Reggae Conection y el Radio BreakBeat

Además todos los años es uno de los organizadores de la celebración de la fiesta aniversario del colectivo, La Conection, que se realiza todos los veranos y en la que no suelen faltar los djs de Fuentes de Andalucía y de la comarca. 

Djs como Selfa, Manchego, Buda, Dani Guerrero, Diego Panoramix, Rafa, Tano, Kuka, Curro, Egea, Eskobalito, Bobi, Lechuga, Limón, Xipu, Herra, Farru y como no, los integrantes del colectivo Conection antes mencionados; Cepo, Champi, Ivanjoe y Juanpa, son los encargados de hacer bailar a los amantes de la fiesta hasta el amanecer.

Luis Conde Pérez, known in the region as DJ Davids, has been fond of electronic music since he was very young.

In his adolescence his influence was the radio and the corresponding recordings of cassette tapes. To later experience the power of music in the discos of the area.

At the age of 20, he formed among 5 friends, Cepo, Champi Volumen, Juampa and Ivanjoe, a group of djs, Conection Sound, which invigorated the area with the most avant-garde electronic sounds, as well as the organization of multiple Raves in the Sevillian countryside , in the years 1999 to the present.

Amateur DJ par excellence. Learning every day from veterans and young people, adapting to current times. He is not afraid to perform sets of any style, although his specialty and what his friends expect from him are melodic break sessions.

More than 20 years with the hobby of mixing and leading his audience to ecstasy in the rush hours of the morning.

After sharing the booth with great DJs at festivals such as Potaje Rock or Primavera Sound in Fuentes de Andalucia, or in venues such as El Latino or El Jorry, Davids now focuses on showing the public his sessions on SoundCloud, conducting a talk show , Conection Radio and in the celebration of the collective's anniversary party, La Conection.

Formerly -polyx- (2000-2010), he has since risen from those ashes, 13 years later, as MadScientist 369.  This is an homage to the Godfather of our technology, Nikola Tesla.  For without Tesla, DJing may never have existed.  MadScientist 369 focuses on DJ mixes and finding new and old dance music.  Whether it be Break beats, Techno, screwed out DnB, or anything in between, the goal is to craft beautiful and driving dance mixes to elevate, motivate, and enlighten.

Nightshade emerged from the questionable liquids of the pre-social media New York City underground bass scene. Since then, she’s played everything from grimy warehouse basements to renegade forest raves to massive festivals, like Warped Tour, Burning Man, Love Parade, Firefly, Candyball, Whistle, Elements, Therapy, and Transformus- among other gloriously unhinged dancefloors.

Her guest mixes have been featured on DNB Radio, Kind Radio, Bass Movement, State of the Art, Newy Bass Crew Series (AUS), and Radio Ninja. Some of them even on purpose.

Unapologetically eclectic, Nightshade’s sets are a magnetic blend of sounds: deep drum & bass meets melodic instrumentals and hip hop, woven together with heavy basslines, captivating vocals, and liquid grooves. 

She loves pairing artists who have zero business being mixed together, hunting down unlikely remixes, and fleshing out wildly specific concepts like: a vintage DNB set sampling only tunes from the late 40s to early 60s, a collection of dance remixes of chart-toppers spanning seven decades, or a global DNB mix rooted in the sounds of ancient traditional instruments from across the world.

Primarily known for drum & bass, she occasionally toys with breaks, house, and downtempo—but at heart, she’s forever a junglist.

Nightshade doesn’t color outside the lines; she just finds weirder crayons. Expect reckless dancefloor DNB… or a plot twist with a sly grin. She’s dropped opera at outlaws, reworked showtunes at raves, shamelessly blended metal remixes with pop, and still believes tribal trap and techstep could be friends. From anthemic rollers to deep cut oddities, her selections always land exactly where they should.

Officially Boston-based, unofficially wherever the sub-woofer calls. Still underground. Still unpredictable. Still ruining shoes in the best way possible.
