This is an archive of The Clean Up Hour. Tonight is the 72nd All Things Considered, which makes the case for Bazooka Joe 204 -- formerly known as John Smith -- who I argue is part of the "ID" of Peanuts & Corn. With a more aggressive flow and harsher observational approach, his discography (alongside his work with Park-Like Setting) is a testament to the importance of working-class presence in Hip Hop, while also still presenting a unique character who forms an important part of Peanuts & Corn, as well as Canada's scene in general. 

I also did the 25th mini All Things Considered on Different Shades of Black, who dropped their only album on P&C two days before I turned 1 year old. I don't think they were going to take over the world, but their album is still a hidden gem for real heads, and P&C deserves credit for not letting it get buried in the archives.
