Now, this release is really special. Warsaw's finest producer, envee (yes spelled in lower case) has been around the block since the early 2000s and is arguably Poland's #1 producer of underground dance music...with soul.

With a sound that often leans towards the UK underground, we thought that we should enlist one of envee's (and our) fave producers to remix his new Local Talk release; Manchester's finest Zed Bias.

Everyone knows this feeling of longing to return to someone or something. Be it your favourite person, your family, simply your favourite city or a special (musical) experience.

With "BK2U", Krimba - House & Garage pioneer since 1997 - returns to his label Groove Dust Records after a long break, on which the first release "Together" appeared already 15 years ago.

"BK2U '95" is a tribute to the English sunday garage sound of the mid 90's, when productions by the likes of Tuff Jam, Grant Nelson, R.I.P. or Jeremy Sylvester were first heard in clubs and on pirate radio.

The "NY Speed Mix", on the other hand, is much more bass-heavy and dedicated to the darker speed garage sound of the late 90's, which can be heard almost everywhere again today.

"BK2U" can be presaved from the 9th of July and will be available digitally on all streaming platforms and shops from the 18th of July.

However, the philosophy of Groove Dust Records is to give music a value in a digital world. That's why "BK2U" will soon also be available in a very rare limited vinyl edition, with a different version of the NY Speed Mix! This mix will not be available digitally anywhere, so keep your eyes and ears open!

I was a box boy and DJ for the Mighty Axis Sound System , I lifted heaps of giant speaker boxes  and learned about Dub, Reggae and Dancehall...thank you Paul Axis, Mikey DON and Natty B you all helped me become a most powerful Jedi ..... ;]

Both long term stalwarts of Bristol nightlife in their own right, K Stylz & Koast formed electrifying DJ double act See No Evil at the end of 2021, mixing up UK Funky, House & Garage, with some of the most exciting sounds emerging from South Africa right now such as Amapiano & Afrohouse. 

The pair honed their b2b sets as residents for Bristol’s infamous The Blast night at Motion, and as residents for Koast’s Durkle Disco label nights. As well as their own See No Evil events all over Bristol (including supporting luminaries such as Juls, Karen Nyame KG, Roska, Tribal Brothers & European305), their relentless schedule has seen them play festivals such as Glastonbury, Boomtown, Hospitality On The Beach, NASS, Love Saves The Day & Nozstock, as well as club shows across the UK. They also host their own show on Bristol’s SWU.FM pushing their blend of UK & South African electronic music, as well as guesting on the likes of Rinse FM, Reprezent Radio & Trickstar Radio. 

K Stylz has a long pedigree in pushing UK Funky & House in Bristol from the very earliest days of the scene – ending with him doing numerous seasons DJing in Ayia Napa during UK Funky’s initial heyday when barely out of school, as well as gaining club bookings across the UK. This longevity gives K Stylz a formidable library of music to draw on, with him equally comfortable playing all upfront new music as he is educating the listener with forgotten but foundational underground classics. 

Koast took a more circuitous route to the decks – he first made a name as a leading dubstep host, with residencies and appearances at many of Europe’s leading festivals and raves since 2008, as well as heading up the multi-genre and MC-focused Bristol label/collective Durkle Disco since 2011. Since 2017 he’s been focused more on perfecting his craft behind the decks, and has quickly gained a reputation as a diverse and discerning selector.

Flo O’Conor ("flocon") is a Leeds based Mix Engineer, Artist, and Record Label Owner (RAW Records) specialising in House, Bassline, Soul & Hip Hop. Active across songwriting, singing and mixing & mastering, flocon plays a role in various stages of the music production process.

Starting as a DJ in the 2010s, flocon performed alongside Cardinal Sound and supported artists such as Artful Dodger and Tanjo in venues across the UK. Previously running a fashion business, Flo returned to music in 2021, launching her own label ‘RAW Records’. Joakim Frithjof has been quietly making his mark in the underground scene. Starting out with a love for Hip-Hop, turntablism, and early House, his musical journey took a new turn when he moved to Amsterdam in 2005, where clubs like Club11 and Trouw shaped his evolving sound. Over the years, he’s played across Amsterdam, hosted his own parties in Utrecht, and even made appearances in cities like Copenhagen, Berlin, and Stockholm.

His style? Hard to pin down. He loves mixing things up, drawing from House, breakbeat, UK Garage, floathouse, rave, and classics. Always keeping it fresh but never forgetting the roots. He’s more about making people move than fitting into any one box.

Beyond DJ’ing, he applies his wide-ranging taste in music to curating playlists for brands and physical spaces. As Music Director at Kollekt.fm and with his own venture, Sonic Curations, he helps create custom playlists and music identities that not only fit the aesthetic but also enhance the atmosphere, leaving behind a lasting audio impression.

Fun Fact: The first CD he ever bought at age 12 was The Prodigy’s The Fat of the Land, a purchase that marked the beginning of a lifelong obsession with music.
