Pipca reblogged a thing for this on twitter. Since she's been doing WL4 stuff recently it's kinda rekindled my interest in WL4 soundfont covers a bit, which I'm happy about.
Took me about 28 minutes to completely arrange in SynthFont using the sequence from m3_ulti_rip

MIDI by that one LukeeGD guy. (I'unno man, MS is the one who gave it to me.)
All I did was the instrumentation, fix up the drums, and add in sound effects from the "battle".

...To be honest, it's actually not all that hard picturing Ralsei as sounding like that "The Dream I Had Last Night" guy, considering how his voice grunting sounds. Nor is it hard to imagine Susie laughing at the thought of pulverizing Jestario with Charge Shots. (Update: predicted Queen

HRRrrmm, I wanna update the mix for this. The instrumentation is there, but everything is much too loud.
I finally found this again after seeing it as a related track on BlastyVeteran's Galaxy Man cover. No clue how it's "related" but whatever.

I like bits of the Trainer battle theme from the new Gen games, but it mostly feels like a clusterfck. I modified the melody and chords in sections in an attempt to make the theme flow more smoothly. I also tried to make it a LITTLE more Celtic (maybe not overtly).

An XG sequence I got from this .zip I found by searching up "ffvii official midi sequences". After the first round of inserting effects and instruments, I had to have the master around 58% or something. Eventually I imported the audio for j-e-n-o-v-a (god i hate typing that) into FL, to get a more accurate sound. As part of that I tried to bring over the mixing and reverb settings you hear in the real tune. By the time I was finished, I was able to have the Master Fader at 100% :)

Q: Why do I use the Wario Land 4 soundfont to some capacity for so many tracks?
A: Because I love the way it sounds, obviously. Half the reason why I'll start making a MIDI in the first place is that I want to hear what it'd sound like with the Wario Land 4 soundfont.
