The original plan was to have all Wario Land 4 (because Saturn is my favorite planet), but some instruments just don't translate. I brought in Mother 3, then Pokémon Emerald, and Monster Tale.

*Imagines showing this to Gustav Holst because I respect him & would want his validation, realizes I'd have to explain a lot.
*Imagines at 6:06 having to explain the cellists aren't bowing the note over and over, it's just the sample's duty cycle.
*Starts ruminating on a 1900s-friendly explanation for how digital sampling works.

I'll be more thorough with the description later but know that my cousin was 3 years old when Undertale came out. I've actually wanted to do this for a year or two. I figured her very neutral temperament was going to be good for Chara, but I was surprised at how perfect her interpretations of some of the lines were.
Because this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I had her record all of Chara's dialogue. I don't know how I'm going to post it all yet.

Completed as my Capstone project for my bachelor's degree at Berklee College of Music.

During this part:
Buster loads the last of the furniture he bought (including a vase that he breaks and an extending rack), is given an address card for some reason, then rides his horse through town. Along his way, a dog bites him when he makes a turning signal. He puts a boxing glove on, then makes an extending arm device to do further turn signals for him. It punches out a traffic cop as he's turning.
After getting out of there, Buster wearies of how slow his horse is and takes a nap. The horse soon stops. When whistling doesn't get its attention, Buster puts headphones on it, connected to a telephone.
Later, Buster realizes this horse is terrible at its job and tries to show it what he wants by example, attracting a few bystanders. He takes the horse to a gland specialist.
The horse charges back out of the building after him, because it was taken to a goat gland specialist. Buster makes a sheepish pout after he realizes, then goes back inside with his head low. He forgot his hat.

This cue is probably my favorite of the bunch. (It's also the first track of the bunch to have a listener!)

Your Only Ally

An experiment in progressively adding more instruments to something. The melody is simple, but catchy. 

Fun fact: this song came into being when I first began work on 'We're the best'; I thought it was neat, so I saved it as a separate little project before getting back to work. Of course, due to the similarities, I'm going to add it to the playlist, because I'm lame and can only come up with completely original things when I sleep (true story). 

I guess (parts of(?)) this would play for whatever the equivalent of the Undyne chase sequence is; probably the bit towards the end where V.I.N.CENT and Maximilian finally duke it out. Depending on how far into the chase you were, a different part of the song will play (the first part playing at the beginning, the last part playing towards the end, obviously).

Run away! (Partially original)

I like this song. I also like transcribing songs that I like. Hence, this thing. The original is better, I feel, but I think this sounds close enough to the original to warrant uploading.

Telstar (The Tornados) Arrangement

The idea came from when I was thinking about Ganon's laugh from the Zelda II Game Over screen and "Feel Gooderang, Inc." at more or less the same time. I think I did a good job of emulating the "Half Singing, Half Talking" effect for that first part.

I wanted to transcribe this song, so I started doing it. Initially, though, I couldn't get the beat right, and I also had most of the instruments from "Hotel" in use already, so I inserted the background guitar deal, made it match the other notes, and then just kinda did the rest of the song.

I pitched 'Blue Wrath Hotel' up in FL Studio to see if I could get it to match the pitch of the original 'Hotel' background guitar, and I found that it sounded good at +240. Then, I slowed the tempo from 140 to 96 (the tempo of IRSWE), and I liked how THAT sounded too; made for a good combination. Finally, to add to the chillness effect, I removed some of the background guitar's notes. Then, I did a little bit of moving around for the Vives parts. Obviously, most of the instruments were changed to match that of IRSWE; multiple instruments use the Vives instrument, so at certain points, it makes it sound like improv jazz, which is a nice bonus.

By the way, I made the sprite edits you see in the image, if that wasn't obvious.

The Blue Wrath Hotel

For those of you who share my opinion that the original song is better than the other two 'Blue Wrath' arrangement things I've uploaded. Unlike the other two, this song is almost identical to the original.

The Blue Wrath - I MONSTER (Arrangement)

After I went online to try to find Les Musiques de MediEvil (yes I have the title memorized) again to have on my laptop, I couldn't find it anywhere, which sort of forced my hand. 
So, now that I've sent it over from my PC, I've decided to upload it. As a result of having these tracks in my possession, in addition to regular tracks from other sources, I now have HQ versions of every track.

Notes:
1. Tracks with legitimate titles come from Les Musiques. Otherwise, it comes from another source (possibly khinsider but I do not remember).
2. The formatting of the titles is a bit inconsistent, but it was decided entirely by which formatting looked nicer.
3. Tildes (~), or in the case of GBOSS, semicolons (;) denote the different places in which a song will play.
4. Morten the Worm was the song that played in the original version of Inside the Asylum, where you spied on monks using that worm in Dan's head. As this is the case, I've put it directly after the Asylum Grounds in the playlist, because it'll always be the real track to me, at least in spirit.

A: Because I love the way it sounds, obviously. Half the reason why I'll start making a MIDI in the first place is that I want to hear what it'd sound like with the Wario Land 4 soundfont.

*Appreciate it; altogether it took me something like 8/9 hours. The first 5/6 to listen, write down what I'm hearing, switch instruments, repeat over 200 times. Then, many months later, go through it all over again, this time to write down the Preset/Sound Bank relationships for each one, because I didn't the first time, and my laziness came back to haunt me once I started fiddling with Polyphone, intending to rename the WL4 presets and make my life easier.
