Well, I'm usually so busy with that part that I can't even appreciate what little bits of genius are in there (yeah, I'm a cocksucker fuck you) until years later-- usually, it involves the percussion, talking in particular about Lasst Train Ride and Hippin' Hoppin'-- and then I look like a braggart, but hey, if it's WORTH bragging about fuck you.

I actually composed something, holy shit! And it isn't too long-winded and samey like Gusty Woods before it! this is a huge deal for me :D I'm pretty proud atm, and I hope that doesn't change between now and later ' - '

I also made that character design. The shutters around the eye are exactly what they look like-- flexible shutters that follow dude's pupil, which as you can kinda tell is a concave shape. The pointy parts you see are gold and shiny. The rest is a shade of blue similar to the background, and has a texture akin to somebody's tongue.

Here's something that IS (yet another) Wario track. It's something original that I made a few months ago, back in like August or September, maybe.

Edit: apparently I AM out of minutes. So, uhhh, I guess I'm gonna have to go back to uploading on tahutoa for a while, or something like that, until I probably either start a third account or go pro for this one, which is also pretty likely because this is the only one that's gained any traction.

one element that I wanted to incorporate into this tune while making it was I really like tunes where they kinda fuck with you by making you think that two progressions are different but in actuality they are exactly the fucking same? That's what I wanted to do with the bassline here. All four phrases for the bass are [F#, F#, F#, B A# F#] without fail, but because of the way the brain works in conjunction with the slight harmonic heard in Deow Synth Bass's sample, each of the four phrases' F#s will sound completely different due to the counterpoint changing by the melody every measure. 

Of course, this is a post-mortem analysis, there's no way that I was thinking about this at all. Kind of like HOME and that analysis of Resonance he saw, where he was like "woah that's really cool, i didn't realize i was doing that i just thought it sounded cool"

Q: Why do I use the Wario Land 4 soundfont to some capacity for so many tracks?
A: Because I love the way it sounds, obviously. Half the reason why I'll start making a MIDI in the first place is that I want to hear what it'd sound like with the Wario Land 4 soundfont.
