The original plan was to have all Wario Land 4 (because Saturn is my favorite planet), but some instruments just don't translate. I brought in Mother 3, then Pokémon Emerald, and Monster Tale.

*Imagines showing this to Gustav Holst because I respect him & would want his validation, realizes I'd have to explain a lot.
*Imagines at 6:06 having to explain the cellists aren't bowing the note over and over, it's just the sample's duty cycle.
*Starts ruminating on a 1900s-friendly explanation for how digital sampling works.

Hey everyone! Been awhile since I uploaded anything here, I know, but I've been busy on some working some really cool projects, a lot of which you'll be hearing and seeing really soon. This is the first of those projects, with my first-ever full length jazz arrangement, with live instrumentation. I played the saxophone and piano on this live, and while the mixing and playing of the former needs some work, I'm very proud of how this came out.

I spent about two weeks working on this song, arranging it myself, and adding as many fun arrangement touches as I could, like the chromatic bassline near the end, along with the 6/4 section right after. I really hope you enjoy this one, and I can't wait to do more jazz arrangements like this in the future!

Completed as my Capstone project for my bachelor's degree at Berklee College of Music.

During this part:
Buster loads the last of the furniture he bought (including a vase that he breaks and an extending rack), is given an address card for some reason, then rides his horse through town. Along his way, a dog bites him when he makes a turning signal. He puts a boxing glove on, then makes an extending arm device to do further turn signals for him. It punches out a traffic cop as he's turning.
After getting out of there, Buster wearies of how slow his horse is and takes a nap. The horse soon stops. When whistling doesn't get its attention, Buster puts headphones on it, connected to a telephone.
Later, Buster realizes this horse is terrible at its job and tries to show it what he wants by example, attracting a few bystanders. He takes the horse to a gland specialist.
The horse charges back out of the building after him, because it was taken to a goat gland specialist. Buster makes a sheepish pout after he realizes, then goes back inside with his head low. He forgot his hat.

This cue is probably my favorite of the bunch. (It's also the first track of the bunch to have a listener!)

I heard an absolutely awful 'mashup' of this track and it's orchestral remix by some hack that was just the two playing at the same time. So I decided to do it properly.

Windmill Isle is a song from Sonic Unleashed, remixed in Mario & Sonic @ Rio Olympics 2016. This doesn't belong to me yadda yadda.

After I went online to try to find Les Musiques de MediEvil (yes I have the title memorized) again to have on my laptop, I couldn't find it anywhere, which sort of forced my hand. 
So, now that I've sent it over from my PC, I've decided to upload it. As a result of having these tracks in my possession, in addition to regular tracks from other sources, I now have HQ versions of every track.

Notes:
1. Tracks with legitimate titles come from Les Musiques. Otherwise, it comes from another source (possibly khinsider but I do not remember).
2. The formatting of the titles is a bit inconsistent, but it was decided entirely by which formatting looked nicer.
3. Tildes (~), or in the case of GBOSS, semicolons (;) denote the different places in which a song will play.
4. Morten the Worm was the song that played in the original version of Inside the Asylum, where you spied on monks using that worm in Dan's head. As this is the case, I've put it directly after the Asylum Grounds in the playlist, because it'll always be the real track to me, at least in spirit.
5. RIP Mr. Apple

I wanted to test out this massive overhaul I gave to my Wario Land Organ & Drums presets. The latter is still a WIP, but the former is pretty much done.

Update: implemented the work I've started doing on an EeEeHh preset. The lower octaves aren't implemented yet, but C5 and up is pretty much done, unless I find samples for something past E6

Bulldog Defense Act 1 (Sonic Unleashed + Wario Land)

The older version was done over the course of about 8 months so there's a huge discrepency in sound/production quality across the set. A couple of weeks ago I decided to give them another pass and get live soloists so they sound way more consistent. This revisit is what eventually made it into the mod release.

Could probably have made it sound even closer to the originals, but eh, diminishing returns, plus I really, REALLY, need to finish ATS soundtrack. Like. ASAP. To you dudes who have been waiting extra patiently for that, I got sidetracked by a couple of career-related offers I absolutely can't turn down (Working with/for people you've very likely heard game music by) but yeah, last stretch on home ground for ATS.

Q: Why do I use the Wario Land 4 soundfont to some capacity for so many tracks?
A: Because I love the way it sounds, obviously. Half the reason why I'll start making a MIDI in the first place is that I want to hear what it'd sound like with the Wario Land 4 soundfont.

One wonders how much of their fanbase thinks of ol' typhoidoa as "epic Wario man, *and ig some other stuff*" - the same sort of typecasting that has felled a number of UT Remix artists over the years.
