Great mood and vibe on this, heavy on the grunge influence but with kind of a different funky twist to the delivery on the verses

What a highly refined sound to this all and performed with such a smooth precision. And I really dig how both the guitar and vocal parts are so rich in fine melody and pleasing sonic tones. Absolutely pro work all the way guys !! Nailed it.

Notes: 

Sometime ago I found this wonderful music piece by Brian Wilson titled, Talk To Me (https://soundcloud.com/rexgoliath-1/talk-to-me).  After a couple of weeks I reached out to Brian to see if he would be game for me doing some writing and singing.  

In an effort to keep this short and to the point.. it was a wonderful experience to try to push and prod the vocals into place... trying to get them into the same room.  Lots of tweaks and moves in very small increments to get to this place.

As is customary with my work... is it perfect..no.  The lyrics have been pushed and prodded in an effort to maximize meaning and reduce chatter.  I feel Brian wrote a piece of music that deserved nothing less.

Tainted Icarus has a protest/grunge/rock type of feel.   Sharing a similar vibe and feel of great bands like Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Cult. 

Slogging it out my home studio and trying to understand the deep sorcery that is Music Recording, Mixing, Mastering.    Jesus if someone had told me how damn complicated the topic was... I might have reconsidered.   

I keep it real, listen to your music and comment.  Be supportive of myself and others and I have your back.  I stay out of the rampant game playing and focus on finding real people making music. Is that you? If so pull up a chair and PM me.
