Back in the day, around '81/'82, Sister Nancy (Ophlin Russell-Myers) recorded a tune on the Stalag riddim - the seminal Bam Bam. Since then I've played it to death be it in clubs and pubs, at home, or in the car on a sunny Irish country road with the top down. 
Around 15 years ago a big beat remix turned up and went straight into my DJ bag often to be played with, instead of, or cut over the original. And that's all I've done here, put a big fuck off beat over Soom T's cut. Same riddim, fresh vocal, new generation. The circles and cycles of reggae and dancehall move ever far-ward. 

Ophlin Russell-Myers, meanwhile .. she's now an accountant in a bank .... pfft.

Plongé dans le dub et la culture du sound system depuis longtemps, Louma dit Apoo Steppa, propose des dub ethniques sur fond d'électronique. 
Il mélange sa passion pour l'électronique et la musique en utilisant beaucoup de séquenceurs analogiques ou encore des synthétiseurs modulaires pour la création de ses « live dub ». 

Apoo tente de diversifier le plus possible ses dub et essaye de nous faire voyager en donnant une touches étrangères aux productions en passant par les pays d'Asie ou encore d'Afrique. 

Inspiré des artistes Nantais mais aussi des artistes internationaux, Apoo tente de garder quand même un style stepper/dubwise. 

En 2015, il fonde avec d'autre amis et artistes de différents style musicaux l'Ataraxy Sound 
System.
