I was introduced to Oliver by one of my good friends and immediately connected to their sound. In the past I have done lots of heavy 80s-driven retro styled music so I felt like this remix contest was going to be a great project to tackle. I think Oliver is awesome at what they do so when I approached this remix I wanted to do something more focussed towards the dancefloor. I don't know what genre this is, but it's funky and it's fun and it makes me want to dance.

So I'm uploading this remix to YouTube and I go to double check the terms and conditions for this contest... apparently I missed the part where it is only open to residents of the USA. I just spent the last 2 days trying to make this remix as mighty as I could only to discover that I cannot submit. But I'm this deep into the project so I'm uploading it just the same haha.

I really wanted Oliver to hear this and if that happens this mission has been a success.

Actually, that was the idea behind naming this release.

We've also added the classic Calvertron remix, which is really killer D&B, by the dude who now calls himself Skapes.
Oh yeah...there's that melodic floor instrument that's the original. We kinda love that so we gave it a new master to charm your 2018s.
