We've been following faultless label Malka Tuti since their very first release, and Khidja's "Drums Of Taksim" (MT003) was undoubtedly one of the defining tracks of 2015. After Gilb'R's remix of J.A.K.A.M. a few months ago, we're delighted to premiere another track off their latest release : an EP by The Kloom, a new all-star project born in Dusseldorf through members of Autarkic, Naduve, Stabil Elite and more. Needless to say, impressive cast. The Die Wilde Jagd remix was our choice of the day, a slow motion groover topped with analog waves and haunting delayed vocals. Out this month so don't sleep !

Stroboscopic Artefacts’ third release sees label owner Lucy and underground trailblazer Ercolino, inspired by novelist Michael Ende’s imagery, create two visions of a nihilistic future. The 12'' begins with the tale of fear incarnate “Gmork”, the most powerful weapon for controlling society. The A-side is a portrait of this terrifying beast: slinking baselines come from its black heartbeat and white noise grows from its unearthly appetites. Fat, squelching noises emerge as light, hope and ideas are quashed, ground up and eaten. The sound is viscose, violent and deep seething red. What emerges is a genius slice of dark, brooding techno crafted from the nectar of your darkest nightmare. The story gets even bleaker with B-side “So The Nothing Grows Stronger”, a narrative of blips, bleeps and squeals. This extreme dub techno track is a mutinous call to arms, the sound of the insurgence. Here beats forge together, fortified by a devastating charge, till the track crunches away into nothingness. It’s a wake-up call, an anthem for the malcontents. Dadub also masterfully extracts two crafty dj tools provided as digital bonuses. No excuse to not spread the savage stories that you have heard...

Oscar Mulero is a techno producer and DJ from Madrid, in charge of successful record labels Pole Recordings and Warm Up Recordings. He began his career as a DJ at the end of the 80’s in Madrid, in the most experimental clubs of the city and soon ended up playing at the legendary Spanish club New World. In 1996, as a part of famous Sonar festival, the name of Oscar Mulero appeared among the list of international underground djs such as Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier and Jeff Mills. Since 1998, Oscar Mulero has released four studio albums and over 30 EPs on the labels like Tresor, Token, Semantica and his very own Warm Up and Pole Recordings. Beside this, he has developed a fully audiovisual experience with his “Light & Dark AV Set”, tested live in some of the best festivals around. His alter ego,Dr. Smoke also gained strength during this period as a showcase of Oscar’s open and eclectic vision as a music selector, moving deep into territories such as electro, dub and IDM.

His picks for Bassiani Podcast are pretty much what you might expect from the techno heavyweight, such as Oscar Mulero - an atmospheric, dynamic and moody compositions that keep the hype and energy from the beginning till the very end. Following an intense first 30 minutes, the latter half sinks into even more noisy and aggressive staff capturing Mulero’s special approach to techno aesthetic.

As if he wants to get us into its tunnel ... where time is marked by syncopated beats which actually distract you from the search for escape. The remix signed by the label's owner, is hypnotic and dark, definitely a dark hole to get lost.
