So, once in a while, gentle people at https://melodics.com/ are organizing a bootcamp inviting their customers to make a beat. Here's my humble participation.

Track's name is obviously a pun but I feel like Nadeshiko (Yuru Camp) is somehow matching the energy...

I based this track on influences from Photay, TOBACCO and Timber Timbre. I live in Germany and winter hits pretty hard, especially for a foreigner from a sunny place, there's a little bit of that in this too.

My end result of following the Melodics Beatmaker Bootcamp, my first attempt at producing and the start of a new journey.

A nice and simple Lo-Fi beat to allow you to unwind and take a breath.

This is my track from the February 2025 Beatmaker Bootcamp at Melodics. Entirely made with Ableton Live using stock instruments and plugins. A new experience for me as I normally work more with samples. Inspiration for the synth bass and melody came from the G Funk of Dr Dre.

Take a breath, relax, unwind.

A step in a new direction for me, originally a drum & bass DJ, IronSight, the genre I always gravitated to when I wanted to unwind and take a breath was Lo-Fi.

This is my first venture into crafting my own beats so please join me on this journey.
