Hidden. Buried. Concealed by the surrounding noise. Some lethal tunes have sneaked throughout the system, and we couldn't keep them secret anymore. We gathered and refined them. That's how our first VA compilation was born. 

The first volume of the 'SECRET NOTES' series is here, featuring eight rolling and bouncy tracks from label-boss Mahony and our core affiliates AG Swifty, Brad Brunner, and EdiP. To these, we have added some razor-sharp tunes by Ben Murphy, Biagio Ess, BizZa, and Mattia Scolaro, for the ultimate Take Notes pack. Play them loud - that's the secret!

No matter how much you trust someone, some things are best kept a secret. Passion and dedication will give you a broader view of something that, at first glance, would look like just a bunch of encrypted information. Following the success of the first volume, the SECRET NOTES series is back with its second edition including nine snaking Minimal House tunes. Label's core members AG Swifty & EDiP team up for the first time with the bouncy '2ezy' while Brad Brunner's dark number 'No Game' runs through the dystopian wilderness. The rest of the compilation sees some of the hottest prospects stepping up their game, each providing essential club tools that have marked Mahony's sets over the last year. Keep the secret. Resounding far away from house to house, Take Notes spearheads AG Swifty and Brad Brunner join forces for an epic collaborative effort. The secret tool of many sets from the Romanians for almost a year, 'Lay Back' EP finally comes to light - exceeding any sonic expectation. Both tracks rotate around tough kickdrums, glidy subs, hip-hop sounds, rumbling basslines, hook vocals sketches, hyperspeed effects - and a maximum dose of freshness: can't catch us.

You picked the wrong house fool. TKTNTS018 is the long-anticipated summer anthem by our very own street kids AG and Brad: from Bucharest to San Andreas. East Coast vibes all the way through. Don't blame us, blame society.

Despite still being in the early stages of his career, Louis Millne, at just 23, has managed to make a name for himself by performing for established parties such as CIRCUS, Creamfields, and ABODE. The stakes have never been higher. It's an all-in situation here at the headquarters. One of Argentina's hottest prospects, Discip, is ready to take the lead with a one-of-kind fan favourite with his The Way I Like It EP. Marching forth amongst his signature electro bassline, hooky warped vocals, and spacey FX, the lead track is going to be a mainstay dancefloor anthem, while titled Lights On digs deep into the darkest moment of the night, offering a deeper, more hypnotic groove-driven production wrapped in Discip's usual fashion.

Our last mix of 2024 comes from the unstoppable Bastian Bux. The Spanish DJ and producer has rapidly become a favourite at the craziest Elrow parties, cementing himself as a leader in the minimal and tech house scene with releases on Hottrax, Desolat, Tamango, and his own NEVERENDZ label. He is making his Take Notes debut in around two weeks playing at our NYE takeover in Hala Laminor, Bucharest, alongside Mahony, Yaya, and our crew at its fullest. See you on the dancefloor!

Jumping on the dancefloor has never been that easy. Italian powerhouse duo of Simone & Riccardo, aka Havoc & Lawn, make their Take Notes debut with the highly anticipated Handclap EP. After paving their way through the minimal underground scene with a string of quality releases on labels like Solid Grooves Raw, Hellbent, and MUSE, to name a few, they bring their flavours with two energetic originals backed up by a remix by Brad Brunner. The lead track revolves around a catchy vocal loop and techy rhythms, ready to set clubs or festivals on fire, anytime, anywhere. On the flip, FLLBCK heads towards deeper, glitchier affairs, while Brad Brunners take provides extra raw emotion for a perfect ending.

The right theme can transform a dull night into something special. Take Notes 25th release is once-in-a-lifetime. Spanish king of the booth and Criterio label-head Wade is not new to giving peaktime tunes to the world, and this time he brings all his energy and charisma to our imprint with the title 'FLXN' in collaboration with Nicola Gavino (Hot Creations). A rampant, hi-octane track where nasty vocals and scattering minimal drums pave their wave between mainstage basslines, echoing sounds, and tension-filled breakdowns built to capture the euphoria of summer dancefloors.

We step out from the shadows with a new thrilling EP by Braydon Terzo. Born in California and now based in Phoenix, Braydon is part of the new wave of American club artists redefining the underground soundscape. Drawing on his upbringing steeped in alternative rock and punk, he infuses his productions with a dark, glitchy twist on house music, bringing a fresh energy to the dance floor, and his debut EP is all about those gloomy tech feelings. Two wicked originals in pure Braydon's fashion, reinforced by a remix from the label's wizard AG Swifty.
