Sometimes I sit up wondering where she is right now

British Skies

Take to the Woods is a UK based experimental music project.  Their sound draws inspiration from contemporary Folk, trip-hip, electronica and drum and bass. Influenced heavily by the vibrant city of Manchester, their tracks are sprawling and capricious. 

Take to the Woods was formed by Anton Schultz & Chloe Barnes in 2018. Production & release of several tracks in 2018 on Soundcloud was followed by increasing interest on the Manchester live music circuit. 

Combining Anton's production & guitar skills with Chloe's creative lyrics & vocal melodies has led to an exciting mesh of glitches, waves & alternative tones. 

This account includes demo's and works in progress - stay posted for more published works in 2024.
