The Hello Yes duo are back with a huge remix from partwithray out June 2nd on Gravitas Recordings.  After huge success with their first releases, this duo has called up some big producers to take their own spin on these Hello Yes tracks.  First up on remix duty is partwithray, adding some spice to “Never Trusted Me” from the most recent Hello Yes EP.  It seemed very fitting that partwithray be the first remixer of Hello Yes, after partywithray’s first release was a collaboration with ZHU.  The Hello Yes project began as Mitch & Aaron made their own tracks while on tour with ZHU, and through their crazy tour schedule still managed to build this side project and have their own sound!  It isn’t the first time these artists have shared a studio, and the cohesion and energy stayed true in this new project and remix.

This one was truly special. I was given the honor of having the final scheduled set of this years edition of Starvibes Campout. over the course of two hours I told my life story through music on the Golden Galaxy stage in the beautiful Blue Mountain valley of the Sierra Nevada's. 

The music played throughout this set is the soundtrack to my life. A lot of these tracks are perpetually playing in my head on a daily basis, and a lot of them have fundamentally changed me as a person.

How do we deal with the fear of the future, the ever-shifting unknown unknowns, the countless wars and atrocities, the very real existential threats to the planet, the depths of despair, the raging fires inside, and the seemingly futile fight to save ourselves from ourselves?  ... 

WE DANCE - We dance fucking harder than our minds think our body is capable of. To dance is to pray, to fully surrender E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G through the holy water pouring from our pores onto the wooden floors. It's the only way I know. And it's an ancient technology that has been around for as long as humanity. 

This dance wave is meant to be a container to allow the frequencies of grief, anger, rage, fear, guilt, sadness and whatever other full-spectrum flavor of life and death wants to come through. Look at it. Be with it. Feel it. Heal it.
