Music Manney (born: Michael Manney) started writing songs at 14 years of age and recording his songs at 16. Over a period of 15 years he amassed a massive catalog of unreleased demo recordings. In 2025, he started release them all.

With four new full length albums worth of material ready to record, and enough savings to need no income for several years, Music Manney decided to bet on himself. 

In 2025, after 13 years of leasing his soul to corporate America, he quit his job on a dime to pursue a life and career as Music Manney full time.
