Well...that's a big song... Of course, there was no DTM in the production process at that time, so I was surprised that you could write such an amazing song with just paper, a pen, and a keyboard.

いやぁ…大曲ですね…。この当時の作品の作り方って当然、DTMってなかったので、紙とペンと鍵盤だけでこんな凄い曲を書けるなんてびっくりですね。

Bedřich Smetana Má Vlast「Vltava」

This is a work I made when I participated in a late-night two-hour DTM project.
The title was "a song with the image of coffee", but it reminded me of a jazz coffee shop, so I made it in that direction.

深夜の二時間DTMの企画で参加した時に作った作品です。
「コーヒーをイメージした曲」というお題でしたが、ジャズ喫茶店を連想したのでその方向性で作ってみました。

Marimba Concerto by Kevin Puts (b.1972)

This marimba concerto was composed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Japanese immigration to Brazil.  The three movements follow the footsteps of the courageous people who cross the ocean with big dreams in mind.  Although the concerto was originally written for marimba and symphonic band, the composer made a version for marimba and symphonic orchestra in 2014.
