Siempre’s only lyric is "Siente" – arranged one way "Siente siempre" means "feels good", an another way “Siempre siente” means "felt forever". On this remix, Sabo reimagines elements of the original through his moombahfocals with layered explosive breakdowns.

Aniligital Music presents Tal M. Klein’s "Deep Dark Place" – This is
one deep trip with a giant didgeridoo tribal dub setting the pace for
a house intro that melds into a heavy Juno bassline and peaks with a
piercing 303 acid lead. This track does not mess around.

The Dead Rose Music Company goes deeper both figuratively and
literally by adding vocal elements that echo through their swagging
cosmic thumper remix.

Soho808 liven up the mood and tighten up the impact with their remix
classic house piano treatments and guitar.

Last year at WMC I played a party with Nico and he asked me if I'd take a crack at doing a remix for him. I'd always been a fan of his sound going back to my days in New York so I jumped at the opportunity. This remix came together really easily, it was kismet. Some things are just meant to happen.

Nickodemus - N'Dini (Tal M. Klein remix)

Speaking of WMC.. A few years back (I don't remember which year) I ran into Bob Duskis from Six Degrees on the plane to Miami. I'd always enjoyed the music the Six Degrees label has put out and we exchanged pleasantries and contact information. Time passed and eventually he hit me up to remix Issa Bagayogo's Poye. The original is a very organic contemporary afrofunk piece, it's like what I'd imagine top 40 radio sounds like in Mali.

My inclination was to take the remix in a very different direction from the original. I wanted to make it a heavy funk dub that would fit both into my funk and disco sets. All parties were really happy with the eventual result, and I still play the hell out of this record.

Recipe for Mazelissimo! (spaghetti and matzo balls)
By your sleazy uncles Anthony Mansfield & Tal M. Klein (AM/TM)

Ingredients

Main:
3 tablespoons margarine, melted
2 eggs
1 cup matzo meal
1 pound gluten-free spaghetti
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water

Sauce:
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 2 turns of the pan
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
4 cloves garlic, crushed or chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup Bovril
1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
A handful chopped flat-leaf parsley
10 leaves fresh basil leaves, torn or thinly sliced
Grated kosher cheese
Garlic matzo, for passing at the table

Directions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the margarine and eggs until well blended. Combine the matzo meal and salt; lightly stir into the egg mixture until the liquid is absorbed, and the meal is damp. Gradually mix in the water so that the mixture holds together, but is
not too wet. Cover and refrigerate.

Bring two large pots of lightly salted water to a boil.

Heat a deep skillet or medium pot over moderate heat. Add oil, crushed pepper, garlic and finely chopped onion Sauté 5 to 7 minutes, until onion bits are soft. Add Bovril, crushed tomatoes, and herbs. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes.

When the water is at a full boil in both pots: 
Remove the matzo mixture from the refrigerator. Using wet hands, shape spoonfuls of the dough into balls. Do not pack the balls together too tightly. Drop balls into the boiling water of one pot, and boil for 15 minutes.

In the second pot, add salt and pasta and cook to al dente. Toss hot, drained pasta with a few ladles of the sauce and grated cheese.
Turn matzo balls in remaining sauce. Place pasta on dinner plates and top with matzo balls and sauce and extra grated cheese.

Serve with garlic matzo and a tall glass of Manischewitz.

I feel the same way about much of what is being produced in "dance" music these days. EDM, or whatever, makes me unwell. Let's celebrate genre mashing and independent dance music. So here's some acid disco and drunk funk. Forget the drop, what you want is the break!

I wanted to give it a classic trip hop treatment, inspiration came from Portishead's remix of Paul Weller's Wild Wood and the RZA's instrumentals on the Ghost Dog soundtrack. My dad convinced me to put this out  when he heard it on a mix I did :) It's a very straight forward edit I did of a 1978 Israeli disco track sung by Ricki Gal that apparently caused a bit of a ruckus when it came out because the song itself is a traditional Hebrew song so a lot of the older grumpsters didn't appreciate it getting the disco treatment. The edits I made were more focused on stretching the track than quantizing it, so just be mindful because the drumming is very "live" if you get my meaning. So, enjoy this free download - hope it makes you happy!

A cankle is a sight common among the morbidly obese; The point at which one is so obese that there is no thinning of the leg between the calf and the ankle, which creates a sense of fusion between the two. And this track is so obese and fat we can’t tell you where the dub disco ends and where the sleaze house begins, they’re fused! Let’s just say it’s an obese floor filler and leave it at that.

San Francisco sleaze connoisseurs Anthony Mansfield and Tal M Klein
are back with their sixth joint EP under the AM/TM moniker; entitled,
appropriately enough, Sleaze Please. If you file this track under
nu-disco (or nu-anything for that matter), we will find you and punch
you in the perineum. This is Sleaze music, it’s dirty and unapologetic
and will melt people’s faces off.

The title track, Sleaze Please, is not a modest number. She will
destroy your bassbins and kick you in the nuts. At last count this
track features no less than 10 analog synthesizers you’ve never heard
of and drum machines that were invented before you were born. This
track is so heavy that when we put it on a scale our phone number
showed up.

A mystery man who called himself Heisse Scheisse clandestinely
delivered a monster remix on reel to reel tape inside a bullet proof
suitcase which also contained a latex banana hammock. After billions
of dollars of research and vaccines, our detective team found out the
man behind the Heisse Scheisse remix was none other than Nick Chacona.
When we confronted him with our findings he said, “What the hell were
you thinking with that bassline, I fixed your stupid mess and made a
better track than the original.” He then shot us in the knees with a
Desert Eagle .50 and took off in a solar powered jetpack.

The other original track on this EP is “U WANT 2” which basically
repeats “you want to” until everyone gets naked and crazy. It’s
delicate like an elephant with rabies on PCP. We recommend this track
to people who are tired of playing records that sound like broken
records. It’s big, it’s bad, it’ll make you glad.

David Marino and I formed Trancenden as a live DJ/band fusion act in 1996. In 1997 we released our first Trancenden album, "Zen and The Art of Insanity." After its release, the "band" broke up and I kept performing as Trancenden for a while. Dave and I reunited briefly for a track on my album, "Peace Love Beats" in 2001, which is also when I officially stopped performing as Trancenden (except in my capacity in the band t spigot vs. Trancenden, better known as t.vs.T)

Anyway, posterity aside, to celebrate my new album, Exhaustasaurus, here's the whole thing for you to download and enjoy.
