Love it! The vocals are great and it's set to disco! I'm glad you made this extended edit. Very nice release.

That legend is Eric Kupper, who leads the charge with a classic NYC makeover bearing all his trademarks of smooth beats, soulful keys and lush strings. Classic house made for late nights and early mornings. Instrumental version available on request.

Tal M. Klein is back in the Paper fold and he unleashes his signature wonky left-of-centre vibes all over this version. It squelches and grooves like a forgotten 80s video game with the best soundtrack you've never heard. Off piste DJs and dancers apply here.

The Shoplifters take the party to a jazz club on their broken disco funk version with plenty of live instrumentation and wonk for forward thinking floors.

Gavin Hardkiss aka Hawke hands the remix duties to Tal M. Klein for his latest EP.  The original features some nasty distorted bass and reggae vibes from Hawke's +++ album.  However with Tal's remix, we find a sweaty mid tempo sleaze fest sitting right around 107 bpm.  Reminds me of early Ninja Tune Funky Porcini type stuff.

My dad convinced me to put this out  when he heard it on a mix I did :) It's a very straight forward edit I did of a 1978 Israeli disco track sung by Ricki Gal that apparently caused a bit of a ruckus when it came out because the song itself is a traditional Hebrew song so a lot of the older grumpsters didn't appreciate it getting the disco treatment. The edits I made were more focused on stretching the track than quantizing it, so just be mindful because the drumming is very "live" if you get my meaning. So, enjoy this free download - hope it makes you happy!
