Magdalena K. aka Motiv-a is a New York-based artist. Working in mediums of visual art, sound and live performance since 2009, she comes from a heritage of underground DIY music culture. Motiv-a is driven by the visceral and subversive esoterics of human ritualistic practices and transgressive music. Her live hardware electronics and DJ’ing range from psychedelic, dark-wave, techno, experimental, noise, punk, to industrial, dark ambient and electronic body music.

She has appeared in venues in New York such as Bossa Nova Civic Club, Trans-Pecos, Elsewhere to Ohm, Säule & Tresor in Berlin, and event series such as the VSSL party series in Los Angeles, Lost Souls Enterprises and Synthicide in NY. Her productions can be found on Lost Soul Enterprises’ 2017 ‘We Are What You Think We Are’ 3-part vinyl V/A, Jaclyn Kendall’s 2018 Palestinian benefit compilation “Never a Land without People”, and most recently the DKA Records V/A DKA Tape Programme III. Motiv-a is currently recording several solo EPs to be announced.

Ex.Hale is a brand new project born in 2021 with releases on brokntoys, Sonic Groove, Voidance Berlin, Diffuse Reality, Rudiment and mixes on Mutant Radio, Abaddon and Sonidos Subterraneos. His mix for Abaddon together with some of his tracks has been picked as monthly fav by XLR8R. He started playing as Ex.Hale back in December in Barcelona (The Garage Of The Bass Valley) and then got booked in Bruxelles (Cafè Central), Verona (Brutal Forms), Berlin (Suicide Club, Tresor) and Leipzig (Um Laum).
His mix of experimental, techno, jungle and dub caught the ears of some of the most respected labels like brokntoys and Sonic Groove that offered to release his music.

Abiogenesis is a humanitarian compilation for Colombia, curated by the label Granular Spectrum.

With their previous release Raices they carried out a campaign to support a foundation who helps children. They  managed to fundraise  1,200 USD for  the Children of Bajo Baudó in the Chocó, a region in Colombia. In that compilation they brought together more than 40 artists from around the world.


Abiogenesis compilation is their new initiative with the purpose to continue helping the immense number of children who do not have a decent life due to lack of help from governments and who today live in extreme poverty. 

'With this new album we want to help the populations of "La Guajira", another of the regions forgotten by the government and, together with Chocó, one of the poorest departments in Colombia. With this new album we also want to help intercontinental migrant children and families who undertake the dangerous journey in the community of Necoclí, department of Antioquia, Colombia, seeking to contribute to the protection and care of affected people from trafficking.

We chose to premiere the track 'Ways and Means' by JK Flesh,  Broadrick's industrial, techno witchcraft with a schizoid baseline with disorientating frequencies.

MALA HERBA is a solo project of sound artist and queer music
activist Zosia Hołubowska. Based on traditional music, magic, and demonology of Eastern Europe, Mala Herba's performances are sonic rituals. The music draws from darkwave and minimal synth- wave but sometimes the melody cracks, the voice becomes a magic spell and the song transforms into a noise soundscape.

After being featured on compilations by labels such as DKA, Exiles, and Total Solidarity by Oramics, Mala Herba released their debut LP "Demonologia" on [aufnahme+wiedergabe] in January 2021, followed by a digital EP "Omnia Vanitas" with two remixes and two covers on the same label.

The generation of life from inert matter. It is a process that involves the development of a living being starting from a simple organic compound. A quick look at the etymology of this term shows us, on the one hand, the prefix a-, which in this case refers to the absence of something, or serves to deny a concept, more precisely bio, that is, “life”. ; In the last part of the word we have the concept of genesis, which we can translate as «beginning or origin«. In short, it is possible to deduce that abiogenesis tells us about two moments: one in which there is no life; another, in which it has arisen from inert elements. @sch-tsch is the project of the Zürich-based, Polish artist, active in the Swiss underground as a DJ, music producer, live act, and host of dark electronics nights, as well as the mix series SCHOEN. In her sets, she transmutes dusky electronic experiments, EBM, harsh techno, post-punk, and mutant analog sounds into psychedelic darkness, pain, and excess. As a hardware live act and music producer, with releases on labels such as Kashev Tapes, Oramics or Tales of Psychofonia, and several self-released singles and EPs, she conjures obscure soundscapes on the fringes of post-industrial, body music and noise, inverting realities and perverting desires.
