MOR.LOV, Morrison B.

Morrison B. is a multi-genre artist hailing from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He embarked on his musical journey at the young age of 7, starting with local punk/rock bands during his teenage years. As he progressed, he ventured into producing and writing tracks for hip-hop collectives and dancers, while also organizing grime hip-hop events in Den Bosch alongside completing his high school education.

During his time in Amsterdam, Morrison matured his sound through ghostwriting and co-writing for artists across various genres, leaving his mark on TopNotch-signed tracks as well as underground UK DnB labels associated with Spinning. Following this, he delved into film music production and creating soundtracks for TV and radio commercials.

In 2016, driven by love, Morrison relocated to Berlin, where he fully embraced the concept of pursuing a musical career. It was there that he found his long-term musical partner, Christoph Mühl, and together they established "Horsemen," a name gaining recognition in the house music scene.

Now, in 2023, after receiving valuable guidance from respected producers such as Heron Music, Chez Damier, Chima, and other colleagues, Morrison has made the decision to create a moniker that truly encompasses his artistic identity and sound. This new artist profile not only energizes the club scene but also provides film producers with a glimpse into the potential of his work for future collaborations.

Looking ahead to 2023 and 2024, MOR.LOV has three albums in the works, along with several singles that encompass piano compositions, deep ambient tracks, and dance floor-oriented pieces.
