Leeds-based artist Joe Morris @joemorris presents his first full-length album, the anticipated "Exotic Language". It lands after a decade of music production from Joe Morris, who smoothly sharpened his skills indelibly, gaining a reputation with an ear for music with depth, emotion and feeling. 

The album is designed as a 360 degree view over Joe’s kaleidoscopic musical palette, a nine-tracker taking in dreamy deep house, new age, ambient and afro-beat.  

We are really excited to share with you the spacey and ethereal side of Joe Morris, by premiering the beautiful "Celestial Plantation", an ode to Italian deep house of the early nineties.

We are in touch with democracy every day. For example, when the population of a country needs to make a decision as for who should rule their country. However, democratic decision making takes place on much smaller scales as well. Think of a committee that together has to decide who to hire for a job, or if you have to choose a restaurant with a group of people. But did you know that there are in fact many different ways in which you could run a democracy? And that computer science can actually help to design ways to run a democracy? In this episode, Ulle Endriss, professor of Computational Social Choice, talks about politics, participatory budgeting and of course their relation to: computers! Because computers can help us when it comes down to making collective decisions, whether big or small. Listen to find out why!

Magnetic North is a Finish-Norwegian collaborative project born during the COVID-19 lockdown. While Earth's magnetic north pole will keep moving in a fast-paced rhythm, Magnetic North will launch new tracks on a regular basis, being a platform to bring Nordic and non-Nordic artists a little closer, at least for a short period of time. Magnetic North focuses on electronic music and sound pieces, and all the possible conjunction points between those two.
