Last month the London based Symmetry dropped the third edition of his Night Rhythms series via Bad Life. Now following on from the the up-and-coming producer exclusively streaming the 2-track release with us we we’ve brought him back to helm the latest edition of our podcast.

Known for his eclectic techno tastes, Davies takes a trip into acid house territory, with a dance floor dominating mix, that pay homage to the genre whilst bringing in influences of techno, tech house and jack. Gorgeously galactic beats are aplenty as Davies has delivered cure for seasonal affective disorder with his distinctly euphoric sounds, broken apart by stomping rhythms. Play this one loud!

Discam's love for hard house started over 10 years ago. After seeing the likes of Lisa Lashes, Rob Tissera, Lisa Pin-Up and the Tidy Boys at venues such as Bournemouth's Opera House at Slinky & Frantic's phenomenal venue Camden Palace (now Koko) in London, it inspired him to want to become a DJ himself. After 6 years of perfecting his style and technique he was given his first chance to shine through to the public eye appearing for the Hardcore Marrows, a local Bournemouth night playing in their Hard House room. Immediately after his set he was asked to become their resident Hard House DJ.

On December 20th he will be joining up with The hard dance dominators Kutski, Organ Donors, Alex Kidd, Jp & Jukesy, Knuckleheadz, and Wain Johnson takeover the room at Soundwave.  In the Trance room at the newly refurbished 1200 capacity venue, The Old Fire Station in Bournemouth will be Thrillseekers, Signum (check out previous mix of the day here), Dark Fusion, Dan Thompson, Lewis Duggleby and Paul Nutbrown.

A special journey from the archives (2012). Four chapters exploring ambient soundscapes and meditative rhythms. Sometimes we need to step away from the dance floor and drift into deeper spaces.

Originally crafted as a sonic meditation, this set remains one of my most personal explorations into sound.

Samuel Barber's Adagio For Strings. This is from 1936, earlier than the 60's but so much more modern, isn't it? The ultimate ambient trance-ish piece... Tried to make it sound like metallic yet organic strings, mixing Clavia's string orchestra samples with synthesizers.

Talla 2XLC is one of the first pioneers of electronic music and in his career as a DJ, producer and eventmanager with over four decades of experience he has released numerous albums singles and remixes under several aliases.

He played in clubs and at festivals worldwide, being known for his high-energy DJ sets and his ability to get crowds moving on the dance floor.

His style is characterized by driving beats, melodic synths and uplifting melodies, but he has reinvented himself many times and plays masterfully in different electronic music genres like Techno, Trance and Progressive.

In addition Talla 2XLC is also the founder of the Technoclub, the most popular electronic music event in Germany. Therefore he brought many international artists to Germany, consistently pushing the global dance scene and bringing excitement to the electronic community.
