does not need to be perfectly unconditional to change
the world - every time our collective love grows, it

What a wonderful experience it has been to play a Live-Set on the Laufmasche Stage for the @hugrecords showcase at @katzensprung Festival <3

We all know this moment - you are lying in bed with a loved one on a Sunday and the world stands still.

You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.

@duygu_music is a resident from our @love-foundation family and she created a beautiful journey for those Sunday mornings that we love.

For the perfect cuddling experience @ueberhaupt_ausserdem did the mastering of the set, just for that little extra nudge of pleasure <3

The story to this live recording

Marina (@maaje_music) and Duygu first met at a festival earlier this year. They stayed connected and Marina invited Duygu to play at Havre de Perche at Anwesend.

After they both had played their sets they thought „Wait a minute, our sounds could match beautifully, do you wanna try a b2b?“

And so it came that after the official program was over for the night they started to play at 6 in the morning thinking let’s try and play for ourselves a little bit. “A little bit” became a 9 hour ride that they both enjoyed very much. They matched perfectly and dancers started to join the spontaneous after hour. After a while Marina asked Duygu if they should press the record button but that it might be too late because they had been playing for quite a while at that point. They thought it might not be worth it because they would stop soon. The button was pressed anyway and luckily they didn’t stop for another 5 hours. So now there is a memory in form of a recording of that beautiful morning. And noon. And afternoon. At some point the power went off so here are the two hours before that.

About this journey 
here comes my cosmocast freshly recorded for you. Even though it is entirely electronic, mostly downtempo, it is very inspired by the psychedelic rock vibe, Jim Morrisons poetry The Celebration of the Lizard – as heard in the intro, and of course Aldous Huxley as a pioneer in the psychedelic field and eponym of The Doors.

Come join our celebration of the lizard, as we gather in a vicious circle far out in the dessert, leave the terrestrial behind, off to different realms beyond both body and the mind. Is everybody in?
