Natiwa is an art-word created by zijn from “Native”. It means almost the same with the original word, or “The wind talking to someone through trees”. Natives / indigenous people are still living in the forests, doing their rituals in the corners of every continent. They just seemed forgotten by the modern world.

Driven by the desire to engage and express himself musically, KAYYAK moves around Zurich’s vivid nightlife with endless curiosity and excitement.
Institutions such as Club Zukunft and Kasheme have become vital foundations for many of Kay’s musical endeavours as a musician and DJ. Spaces that give him the creative freedom to plant the seeds of his dreams.

The majority of his time is dedicated to creating music. Mostly alone, but with regular visits from his friend and mentor Kalabrese and others.
Under the moniker “Arnau Obiols & KAYYAK” Kay also records songs with his Catalan brother-in-law.
 
Kay feels most at home to release his music with Kalabrese’s imprint “Rumpelmusig", as well as the Munich based label "Compost Records".
The debut LP “Make No Time” in collaboration with Kalabrese released in 2020 gained great popularity with A-side becoming a Rumpelhit.

From than on came the first "Arnau Obiols & KAYYAK” releases incl. Remixes by Kalabrese & MLiR on Compost Records, as well as guest appearances on Kalabrese’s Album "Let Love Rumpel Pt. II"

The newest songs "Dreaming Place", "Let Love Find Itself" & "Mönchhof Amour" came in summer on Rumpelmusig. Mönchhof Amour (ft. his wife Xenia), has become a song for the hearts in Zurich’s nightlife with crowds singing along the "Once i know i have to find my soul i’ll let you know"

The wait is over… ‘Unfold Your Heart’ is here! This collaboration between Pandhora and Cahelo is a sonic journey that takes us deep within ourselves to reflect on our personal growth.

The song invites us to look inward and connect with who we were and who we are, embracing the idea of opening up to new possibilities. It’s about letting go of past burdens and naturally resolving the blockages that prevent us from connecting harmoniously with the present moment.

Full of anticipation, we present to you the continuation of the JeBoDa project. The musical journey continues in the form of a remix EP. This EP will be available both digitally and on vinyl. The digital version consists of two parts.
Part I of the remix EP will be a special treat, featuring exclusive remixes of the iconic track 'JeBoDa', which was originally created by the talented artists Dan Bay, Chill Sander and Between Machines. These remixes have been carefully crafted by a number of other gifted musicians, including the brilliant Mira Vána, the innovative Kon Faber, the versatile Olivan and the ingenious Iorie. Air Horse One is an incomparable musical flight experience - brutal, pure rhythms and driving beats. And so are the two tracks on this EP: They come without a lot of gimcrackery, but have a direct effect on the physical level and were created on the journey home from Berlin, in Wagon 34. Compared with an element of Gnarls Barkley's 'Crazy', which served as inspiration for their track, the EP title 'Crazy Wagon' was born.
