Pyramids and Spirituality are so intertwined. 
Did you know that shape and structure of the pyramids were designed to facilitate communication with higher powers or dimensions. Pyramids were seen as a kind of conduit or amplifier for spiritual energy, enabling individuals to tap into their own intuition and connect with their higher self. - a physical representations of the journey towards enlightenment. Shape represents the path towards the higher self, with each level symbolizing a step on this journey.  We have created this track in 852Hz frequency - the frequency of intuition and third eye chakra.

A robot awakes from a long sleep. In the darkness, his eyes open and contemplate a savage, thick and lush nature. The android goes in search to browse the space around him. It seems there’s no sign of life, animal or human… He quickly figures out that he’s surrounded by rusty devices, damaged metal and large dusty gearwheels. Wandering the remnants from another time, our hero, is now a true little machinist. He tampers, tinks and fishes around the mecanisms surrounding him in order to inject a new energy, a second life. Gradually, everything is gearing up, lights blink, cogs work again. It’s relaunching, it’s working well again. An amusement park re-emerges now from oblivion and comes gradually back to reality. The carousels’ shade is dancing in the starry sky, the humanoid is browsing the park’s aisles and contemplates what’s once was a place where shouts and bursts of laughter were clashing. Very slowly, but undoubtedly, the robot wards off. He casts a last gaze at this so familiar and unusual place that evokes memories, like a retrieved imaginary world. Soothed, he vanishes away, in the shade, leaving the park operating, witness of a retrieved liberty.
Tour de Manège is proud to introduce the culmination of years of work, the conclusion of a story started in 2013. Through this project, and more specifically this vinyl, we’re closing, at least for now, the interlude of this 5 volume saga. After the genesis in volume 1, “Le Train Fantôme” in volume 2, the “Freak Circus” in volume 3 and “The Wizards” in volume 4, we introduce the conclusion of this saga with volume 5 : “The Machinists”. Thanks to every contributor to the vinyl, to the Tour de Manège project et, last but not least, to the community that followed us for all these years. More than a musical adventure, it was a human adventure that started 9 years a go and lasts ever since.

Aaron Martin and Dag Rosenqvist and their musical collaboration as From The Mouth Of The Sun seems to elicit immediate excitement from an ever-growing number of modern classical, post-rock and experimental music fans from around the world. The duo appears to be on a mission to bring their dynamic breed of electro-acoustic classical to the masses this year. From composer David Wingo selecting three From the Mouth of the Sun songs to appear in the critically acclaimed sci-fi thriller ‘Midnight Special,’ to their first original score for A24’s feature film ‘Menashe,’ praised at Sundance and in theaters this summer, Rosenqvist and Martin are well on their way to receiving the recognition they deserve.

‘Hymn Binding’ is the pair’s third album as From the Mouth of the Sun, and their first for US label, Lost Tribe Sound. The album is teeming with all the soul-stirring character one has come to expect from their work together. The long form crescendos built from Martin’s mournful strings and vast array of acoustic instrumentation are a perfect compliment to Rosenqvist’s delicate piano melodies, humming electronics, and waves of warm static.  

‘Hymn Binding’ was given the deluxe vinyl treatment. The edition arrives as a lacquer cut vinyl pressed on 180 gram virgin vinyl, housed in a matte finished gatefold tip-on jacket with artwork throughout from Gregory Euclide (Limited to 300). The deluxe edition also comes with a download card offering a choice of formats including FLAC, 320K MP3, etc. Mastering for vinyl and digital was performed by Taylor Deupree. The CD edition is also a work of art, housed in a heavy stock, handcrafted 7" x 5" book-style case with glass mastered CD and a download card for the album in high quality format (Limited to 150). The first 50 editions of both the vinyl and CD will come with a 6.5"x 5" print of the cover art by Gregory Euclide when purchased directly through LTS.

Anne Lovett’s stunning new release for 1631 is a departure from her beautiful previous solo piano album Beyond (and below). Without loosing any of the startling beauty of the preceding album, in The Eleventh Hour, Anne Lovett revels in a new sonic world. Joined by the London Contemporary Orchestra , UK’s most innovative and respected ensemble routinely heard alongside such luminaries as Radiohead or Johnny Greenwood, and later in duo with phenomenal cellist and composer Oliver Coates, Anne Lovett also introduces subtle electronics interwoven carefully alongside layered melodic piano lines.

The main narrative for the album was conceived shortly after a new addition was brought in to Anne’s studio, a plantation chair which sat opposite her Grotrian-Steinweg grand piano. It led to intense hours of rethinking around the instrument itself and more generally about the seismic shifts that were taking place in society. The album is an attempt to reconcile the flaws of time. 

Best described by the Japanese concept of Kintsugi or “broken beauty”, The Eleventh Hour is a heartbreakingly beautiful contribution to the modern “indie” classical genre. The thirteen tracks all meticulously crafted and ringing out with a dark luminosity, like an elegy to our troubled times. 

It will appeal to fans of Dustin O’Halloran, Nils Frahm, Max Richter, Philipp Glass, Jóhann Jóhannson who will find many reasons to love this album .
