Gavin McLeod is a nineteen year old singer, songwriter, blues guitar player and Youtube personality from Milton, Ontario. Gavin has been performing in bands for over ten years and has appeared as a musician on two seasons of Family Channel's TV show Backstage. In 2019 Gavin released his debut project "The Hollow EP" and showcased his music at the 2019 International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee as well as the Toronto Blues Summit 9. Gavin regularly plays around the Greater Toronto Area and hopes to bring an appreciation of blues and rock music back to a younger audience.

Music is the is the language that all understand. Growing up in South Africa and moving to Canada at a young age, there was a lot of cultural shock Calvyn experience. Music filled the void that loneliness created. Calvyn says he writes about “sad” or “hurt” because he thinks it’s important to turn those things into something beautiful. “Me, Myself and I” is his first release. “The song was written about being in love with someone who can’t see past themselves. A selfish love. It took me a while to recognize it was also a song to myself. I created this identity I thought people would prefer in order to protect myself. I hid the parts of me I felt a bit ashamed of and I realize now that I was subconsciously crying out to be let out”. With more songs on the way, Calvyn is determined to make his mark in the music industry.
