SHOW ME LUV (TAFFIE'S YO DAWG EDIT)

With inspirations spanning from Samurai Movies of the 1950's across Hip-Hop from the 80's, to white-labelled tool-techno records and Anime from the 90's, Narciss has catapulted themself into the contemporary hard dance spotlight with a flurry of furious cuts on Lobster Theremin and 1ØPILLSMATE, and now the German producer readies four synth-wavey bops of pop-techno and hardcore on Eurodance Inc.

Staying true to the Eurodance aesthetic, and following one of the year's most well received dance music records in DJ Heartstring’s ‘4 The People’, ‘House Of Pleasure’ displays Narciss’ love for splashes of colour amongst the usually-grey Berlin soundscape. Taking as much influence from the golden-era of trance electronics as it is the Tresor heyday, it’s gradual incline from techno to eurodance is completed on ‘Power To The People’; a cut of deep trance that touches the border of cheese whilst maintaining a headsy, underground appeal.

‘ADHDisco’ is a warped sequence of classic soul nostalgia and high speed futuristic brain-dance that plays out like an alien discovering Northern Soul for the first time, before the classic hardcore synth patterns and unrelenting kicks of ‘Lovechild (LOVE mix) lay the foundation for a soulfully transcendent cut of classic Chicago and hard-house blends.

CAN’T STAND IT

IMOGEN returns to Sunil Sharpe’s Earwiggle imprint, this time with Ben Pest for their first full release together, ‘Volts’, out today. Over the four tracks, the pair showcase their diverse style as crossover the realms of raw techno and UK hardcore, channeling volcanic energy. ‘Shibooty’ is a perky take on Chi-town techno with cartoonish vocal sequences, humming bass and elevated funk levels. It’s a groover!

IMOGEN is a resident at NTS and fabric and has previously released on femme culture, HE.SHE.THEY, Lobster Theremin amongst others. Bristol-based artist Ben Pest has collaborated with Radioactive Man, made appearances on Off Me Nut, Riot Radio Records, and Asking For Trouble and released under the OverworX moniker.

Tamisya is a DJ from Dublin who burst onto the scene towards the beginning of summer 2019. 

The 24 year old grew in popularity from her regular soundcloud mixes which displayed her versatility among genres and a deep understanding of current dance music. 

Her mixes begin quite stripped back with emphasis on building energy over time. This style translated perfectly into live performances and her unique song selection helped her build crowds even with opening sets. 

Her focus on energy and how her sets develop are a major factor to her success as well as the genres and songs picked by her. 
In a short space of time Tamisya has earned her stripes by playing in most staple clubs across Dublin. 


She has played in The Button Factory, Bernard Shaw, 39/40(Index), Hijinks/Tramline, The Grand Social, Turks Head, Wigwam, Berlin Bar, Opium, Konspiracy and The Sound House .

Festivals : Boxed off, Life festival, Higher vision festival.

This might seem a lot for such a new comer but Tamisya’s momentum doesn’t seem to be slowing as she already has a lot lined up for the rest of 2023 and developing her sound even more in 2024.

Tamisya’s appreciation for  techno, peppered with her love for hardgroove, breakbeat, old school rave and electronic music gives her sets a depth that is very hard to find.
