Sure, their latest track resonates more with the older guard, but there’s effortless charm in the way Isa sings coolly atop driving, jazzy rhythms and wily melodic turns, steering clear of forced ambition for a stab at a lighter, more laid-back pop affair.

Lambing is the 4th single from Conscious & The Goodness. This is their first release since their wins for Best Jazz Recording and Best Musical Arrangement at the 2016 Awit Awards. 

This is an original that singer Mike Constantino wrote for his previous band Mike's Apartment and was recorded and released under their highly-influential Lovers/Quarrel LP - but was never released as a single.

Today, the members of the band have breathed a different kind of soul to this playful track, giving it the Conscious & The Goodness treatment of SoulJazz, with a little bit of Hip-hop.
