Piano solo variations on the theme "Träumerei" by Robert Schumann

The process of this composition relied on the dreams I had whilst composing it and there was conscious effort to derive music material from those dreams which lasted for roughly 10 days. A practice that I will like to develop as I find it almost freeing to surrender to what comes forth from the subconscious.

This song was composed and recorded in one sitting, it all came along very organically. "Weltschmerz" is an elegy, concerning the constant and seemingly inevitable destruction of our planet by men.
