"Juno Review: A record that explores deep, hypnotic rhythms with a strong tribal and mystical undercurrent, the latest Siamese Twins records pushes the boundaries of what is possibly in eastern influences underground techno. Side-1 opens with 'The Golden Triangle', an atmospheric introduction that feels cinematic, setting the stage with ambient textures before giving way to movement. 'Lens of Time' follows, locking into a deep, primal groove where rolling percussion and rich low-end create an entrancing effect. On Side-2 'Mekong' leans into tribal mysticism, blending ancient rhythmic patterns with a modern pulse. The production is detailed yet raw, drawing from rich percussive layers. Premiere: Pianeti Sintetici & Simon Oak - Pluviale

Annuled Music is back with another gem, this time introducing Aawadh - a new alias from French producer and Cielo Records boss JC Laurent. Known for his deep, hypnotic take on techno, JC flips the script on Dyadica, an 8-track debut album that trades 4/4 for halftime pressure and lands somewhere in the 80/85 BPM zone. It’s packed with groove, weight, and that sweet spot between heady and physical. There’s room for ambient detours (Ignys), tribal techno nods (Nyteris), and and straight-up pressure with Oscillia, but the core vibe? Forward-thinking halftime drum & bass with real depth.

We’re premiering the second track from the album, Alkymis, which together with the opener Evolys kicks things off and sets the whole vibe. Eerie and energised, with a kind of ritualistic swing to it. The drums snap, the synths melt, and everything flows just right. There’s a UK breaks feel underneath, but it’s doing its own thing. Big system or headphones, club or commute, it hits. One of those tracks that makes the world move a little faster.

More French Fries is a 15-track compilation bringing together 19 producers from all over France – from Paris to Marseille, including Lyon, Strasbourg, or Toulouse – all part of a generation that endeavours to shape the sound of tomorrow. This various artists compilation is the 10th release on our label, and we imagined it as a celebration of our scene’s diversity, a unifying mix that draws links between scenes, cities, and sensibilities.

This genre-blending selection, that stays true to Dürüm Records’ adventurous identity, in which deep textures weave connections between each track, serves up a tasty mix of downtempo hybrids, progressive flights, club-oriented sounds, and broken rhythms.

I live, work, and make music on the un-ceded lands and waters of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. 

Australia's institutional and legal foundations were founded on the myth that nobody inhabited this continent when the first fleet of boats coming from England arrived. Speaking for settlers like myself, the least we can do is redistribute our privilege (whatever forms it might take) earned off the back of a history and ongoing practice of dispossession, erasure and violence perpetuated against First Nations peoples.   

Making music against this backdrop will always feel fraught to me until we achieve real justice and honour the many Indigenous legal orders, polities, knowledges and traditions that are already in existence in this place but have been denied by the State of their rightful, sovereign legitimacy.
