Native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but raised in Englewood, California, Lady El' ouise started her rap career by listening and reciting an aunt’s poems and rap lyrics. During her stay in California Lady EL' also auditioned for the" We Are the World "video produced and directed by Michael Jackson, in 1985. Upon her return to Milwaukee she auditioned for a rap group that was looking for another female rapper and made the group. She deemed herself the youngest and weakest writer at the time, but continued with the group for a year, before moving on and performing with other groups throughout her high school years. Shortly after high school she formed with her cousin, a last and final group "Wickedness" under the management of a local song writer and singer Jon Gee. As the group, Wickedness, Lady EL was able to compose a single called "Playas Ball”, which was used as the HBO sound track "Pimps up Hoes Down". During this time also as Wickedness, other relations were formed throughout the country, in major urban cities like Chicago and Philly, where she performed at local clubs and festivals held in those cities. In 1997, Lady El, aka, Shagg and Nina Boss aka, Flawless found new management in New Jersey, New York, called Koncetted Records, with, CEO, Verdi Emmanual. Under this new management the girls were whipped into condition, with extreme rehearsals, long studio hours, and critiquing their stage presentation. This was in preparation for their future extensive traveling and performing. In the summer of 2000, Lady El got in a tragic accident and was left bed ridden for 3 months. This accident put Lady El's music career to a halt. But, after her recovery she was back at it working on her solo career, by featuring on local rappers songs like Baby Drew, spending long hours in the studio with producers like Steve O, and local hit makers, like Hack the Hit. Expediting her music, she then hooked up with running rebels, producer, Rocky. After creating/composing music on this collaboration, it catapulted Lady EL’ouise’s solo journey. She had her first album released in 2004 called, "The Get it Girl" which would later start a phenomenal female classy, "GET IT GIRL MOVEMENT: known as the GIG’S, they don’t it big, they do it "SUPERSIZE"...... Lady EL'ouise then made a video to her "All My Girls" single that represented the movement. Lady EL, still under the stage name Shagg and solo, did her very first ever collaborations, with a local DJ, Doc B, produced a song “The Boss" . In 09' Shagg reinvented her character, and became Lady El' ouise, symbolically named after the late Eartha Kitt, where Ertha Kitt character was that "Lady Elouise", in Boomerang. Much like Eartha Kitt, classy, jazzy, strong and seasoned in her career, Lady EL's career parallels as a female EMCEE. Lady El' considers herself as not just the typical girl rapper, but, a Lady rapper. With that being said she brought out her first album "Introducing Lady El' ousie". In 2009 Lady El' began doing a lot of shows @ local venues like the Summerfest on the Briggs and Stratton stage, Club(s), Quarters, 311, Rave, Brooklyns and International. Lady EL' ouise's mix tape dropped in the fall of 2010 It was called (Welcome to Child's Play)" V1" Bride of Chucky! She has also created her aka, (bride of chucky doll...more like an arch enemy in the doll world...in her words" The gutta side".
