Heute darf ich Euch mit mit grosser Freude, in der neusten Ausgabe unserer Podcast Serie, einen ganz besonderen Gast willkommen heissen! Vorstellen muss ich sie von Bern bis Zürich wohl nicht, doch hört uns ja mittlerweile ein internationales Publikum zu.
Auf Dauerwelle entdeckte ihre Liebe zur elektronischen, Musik an der Solipse in der ungarischen Steppe Ende 90er Jahre.
Sie hat seither in verschiedensten Clubs in Bern, Olten und Zürich gespielt - doch am liebsten mag sie es im kleinen Rahmen, wo die DJ mit den Leuten ZUSAMMEN Party macht. Das Togetherness ist auf Dauerwelle das wichtigste an einer Partynacht. Technoides Kuscheln nennt sie das.
Normalerweise peitschen gnadenlos wummernde & böse Basslines den nächsten Beat und fordern atmosphärisch-warme Harmonien heraus. Ihre melodiös-technoide Tanzmusik ist ein Pamphlet gegen die Schwerkraft. Hart aber herzlich.
Vielleicht auch deshalb nennt sie ihren Stil technoide Fliegermucke, die das Herz öffnet!
Für Sinneswandel hat sie sich auf einen ungewohnten Stil eingelassen – langsamer, weil es tiefer geht. Das Herz wird dabei noch etwas mehr gedrückt. Harter Kitsch mit Stil. 
Aber genug der Worte, hört selbst und lasst Euch verzaubern, wie es auch mich verzaubert hat!

Today I am delighted to welcome a very special guest to the latest edition of our podcast series! I probably don't need to introduce her from Bern to Zurich, but we now have an international audience listening to us.
«Life needs a little more peng peng".
Auf Dauerwelle discovered her love of electronic music at Solipse in Hungary in the late 90s.
Since then, she’s played in a wide variety of clubs in Bern, Olten and Zurich - but she likes it most, when it’s small scale, where the DJ parties TOGETHER with the people. For Auf Dauerwelle, togetherness is the most important thing about a party night. Technoid cuddling is what she calls it.
Merciless booming & wicked basslines challenge atmospheric-warm harmonies. Their melodic-techno dance music are instructions against gravity. Hard but hearty.
Maybe that's why she calls her style technoid flying music, which opens the heart!
She is always happy to rock the dancefloors with her friends.
For Sinneswandel she tried out a new syle – slowlier, because it’s going deep. Your heart is pressed even harder. Hard Kitsch with style. 
But enough words, listen for yourself and be enchanted, just as it enchanted me!

That day, Hekske (the little witch) got a rude awakening well before dawn when a snow flake landed straight on her face, while the wind was howling through the dark forest.  Falke (the 10 year-old witch apprentice) had once again snuggled under the moss blanket of the witch to keep warm and dry.  The winter had been mild up to then, but on that day the harsh winter weather had finally arrived. The outdoors life of a witch is full of beautiful and rewarding moments, but on mornings like these, even the toughest witch can sometimes be yearning for a warmer and drier place.
A little later, both girls were sipping from a warm cup of herbal tea and their morning mood brightened up considerably when they realized it was the new moon day, which meant it was the day of their monthly trip outside the witch’s forest.  They waited for the rain and wind to abate a bit, after which they took off and headed towards the east.  They had no idea where they were going to and were just following their inner compass.  It was a pretty easy flight with the girls benefiting from the strong tail wind and one hour later they reached Limburg, the easternmost province of Flanders with its breathtaking landscapes of orchards and lush forests. Today the place was even more beautiful than ever with its cover of immaculately white snow. After a while, the witches saw a girl waving at them from a heath field below them. As the girl was wearing a long white dress and walking barefoot, she was obviously a witch. Hekske and Falke touched down gently, where they got a warm welcome by the girl and her guard wolf. The girl was very young, but her long red hair and mesmerizing green eyes showed that she already was a powerful witch. After a long and tearful welcome hug with the witch, Hekske and Falke cuddled and hugged the wolf. The warm and fluffy feeling of a wolf is one of the most wonderful feelings a witch can get. 
This was a very special day for the girl as it was the very first time that she met other witches. They decided to go for a walk in the snow-covered heath field, which was dotted by several small meres (shallow ponds). The wolf was in a frisky mood and was playing in the snow all the time. The young witch explained that the wolf had left his pack to take care of her when she was still a child. Wolves are known to be the most faithful and trustworthy companions for witches. The bond between the wolf and witch was obviously very deep and soul-touching. 
Normally witches do a lot of mystic ceremonies, but on that day they decided just to have some fun and walk around this spellbinding winterscape. And at the end of the day, they gave a last hug to each other (including a fluffy hug to the wolf) and promised to visit them again next spring, when the heath will be in full bloom …

For Schleichcast °54, we’re excited to present @nugimusic – a Vienna-based DJ and producer known for his passion for blending genres and moods; and this mixtape is another proof of this talent: it is what some people might describe as ‚original‘ downtempo - a slow-paced coalescence of musical diversity taking you through moments of melancholy, playfulness and dynamic grooves. Organic and percussive elements intertwine with some live-played saxophone tunes by Catherine aka @goldkettchen (how cool is that?!). 

Nugi’s transitions are effort- and seamless, yet they sometimes feel like unlocking new levels in a game or opening up new horizons while they move you from rather solemn soundscapes to lively, uplifting moments. This set is a warm, soul-soothing experience and we couldn’t wish for anything better to fit the cozy chill vibe in this time of the year.

>>Wer bist du und woher kommst du?
Ich bin Ben, ursprünglich aus der Nähe von München, aber seit fast 8 Jahren lebe ich in Wien. 

>>Wie kamst du zum Auflegen?
2008 hat mir ein Freund seine Plattenspieler gezeigt und mir das Auflegen beigebracht. Zuerst haben wir zusammen auf Schulpartys gespielt, später ging es über Hauspartys und Geburtstagsfeiern bis in Bars. Allerdings stand für mich immer das Auflegen zuhause im Vordergrund. Anfangs war es eher eine Art musikalische Selbsttherapie für mich und gar nicht so sehr für ein Publikum gedacht.

>>Was hat dich für das Set inspiriert?
Das Set ist in einer Jurte im Garten eines abgelegenen Landhauses in der Steiermark entstanden. Umgeben von Bergen, Stille und der Wärme eines Holzofens habe ich dort über drei Wochen Musik produziert und dabei unter anderem dieses Set aufgenommen. Die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit haben mich vollkommen inspiriert. Als Catherine aus Wien vorbeikam, haben wir uns spontan ans Jammen gemacht – sie live am Saxofon, ich an den Decks. Das Ergebnis ist dieser Mix, in dem sich die Magie des Ortes widerspiegelt.

>>Welcher Moment deines Künstlerlebens hat dich nachhaltig beeinflusst?
2016/2017 war ich länger in Asien unterwegs und habe auf einer kleinen Insel in Kambodscha eine abgelegene Rave-Community entdeckt. Eigentlich wollte ich nur kurz bleiben, doch ich habe dort letztlich mehrere Monate verbracht. Schon am ersten Tag packte der Manager seinen neuen Traktor-Controller aus – denselben, den ich zuhause hatte. So bin ich sofort Teil des Teams geworden.

Die intensiven Nächte, an denen ich im Dschungel- und Strandsetting aufgelegt habe, haben mir klar gemacht, dass Musik für mich weit mehr ist als ein Hobby. Dort habe ich beschlossen, das Auflegen bewusster in mein Leben zu holen und auch öffentlich zu spielen.

>>Was ist dein Geheimtipp gegen den Kater?
Alkoholfreies Bier auf der Party trinken und dafür lieber mit Kakao durchstarten. Der schiebt ordentlich, und macht keinen Kater :)
