About the Release :

Duo Lane is a Amsterdam-based musical partnership Jordan and Thomas with a love for deep, hypnotic and melodic techno. They are inspired by artists like Tale of Us, Adriatique, Einmusik, Hidden Empire and Stephan Bodzin. In the last few years they made a footprint in the Amsterdam nightlife by playing for organisations like Techno Tribe, Dusk, Technic Fabrique, Excess the movement and started their own event called Xplore.

In collaboration with Vision 3 Records they now bring out their first release titled “Alchemy EP”. The 5 original tracks range from high-impact techno to dreamy synth heavy tracks and come with 3 breathtaking remixes by Misuri, Bessif and Mr.Phoenix.

As we check off another year for Steyoyoke Recordings, we would like to thank you for joining us on this wonderful journey and appreciate your continued support. To mark our 6th Anniversary, we invited some of the best producers to create remixes of our favourite Steyoyoke tracks of 2017. The release will feature remixes from Hernan Cattaneo, Audio Junkies, Martin Roth, Simon Doty, Nairo and Township Rebellion. The anniversary vinyl will be showcased and sold at our 6th Anniversary Party at Ritter Butzke in Berlin.

Opening the release is Hernan Cattaneo and Audio Junkies’ take on BLANCAh’s “Talus”. The result is pure energy with playful rhythm, soothed by melodic synths. Reinventing Soul Button’s “Paramour” is Martin Roth, who certainly adds a bit of forthright edge and deeper undertones to the original mix. Next up is Simon Doty and Nairo’s version of Nick Devon’s “Overflow”, which unleashes vivid elements scattered across heavy bass lines. The fourth and last track in this release is Clawz SG and Nick Devon’s “Syndicate” remixed by Township Rebellion. Saturated with explosive attitude, this remix surely won’t let one stand still!

About Iulianus:
Born in the city of Sao Paulo (Brazil) and currently 29 years old, studied music passing through instruments like guitar, flute, until arriving at piano his greatest passion, was where he really found himself in the music. With several tracks finished unreleased and some released on Three Hands Records, Bullfinch, WOOD, Neele, 13zrec and Dirty Brain Records it can be said that his fundamental characteristic in the production is the melodies and harmonies, would not be different by the types of instruments that studied.
