Cosmic blips and bleeps squeak as the moon glimmers. A pale beam of light glistens along the pier as the couple stroll towards the end, towards the water, those ocean waves calling out louder now in the moonlight than ever before. The tide brought them in and out. They gazed out towards the island which sat on the shimmering horizon, it was a silhoutte, an outline against the ocean expanse. Boats were leaving now and then, they would catch the next not knowing where it might take them, the risk was worth it all, they had heard the stories and it was time to leave. 

Simoncino is set to release a five track EP for Rowtag Records shortly. Here is "Il Sole Boogie".

White Visitation is the alias of Mexico City based DJ/Producer Nicolas Guerrero. With releases on Style Upon Styles, LIES, RVNG Intl, Blank Slate and a performance at MUTEK Montreal 2016 that left people spinning, Guerrero is primed for a prolific 2017. For his GhostlyCast, Guerrero said: "I'd been compiling music for a couple of months thinking I was overdue for a mix. Some records I picked up this summer, along with some stuff I've found online, arranged digitally for edits and tweaks. I hope the mix takes you somewhere."

A slow burning anthem: the holy grail of all producers. A tune that keeps building and building momentum gradually and naturally To the point crowds singing the bassline back when you drop it. This is the case with Gregor Treshers Goliath. 

Released February 2015 on Bedrock, its been smouldering ever since. The Frankfurt DJ considers it up there with A Thousand Nights and About A Good Place as one of his most successful tunes in his career so far; its distinctive hooky bass riff capturing moments and imaginations as more and more DJs exploited its unifying charm. 

Over two years later, Gregor and Bedrock present two precision-tailored remixes that add to the Goliath story. French techno OG Emmanuel Top, a man whose records inspired Gregor to produce in the first place, takes the lead with a 10 minute monolith that doesnt even hint at the riff for the first four minutes. Focusing on the machine funk rhythm of the original and turning it inside out, Top lets it sizzle for as long as possible before suddenly dropping the full musical scope of Goliath on us mid way. Alan Fitzpatrick, a man who doesnt need much of an introduction to fans of mordern Techno, also subverts the original in an equally remarkable way. Allowing himself to be taken in a whole new direction by the pads, a new topline and is added to create an entirely new experience that still instantly brings home the original tones and feels of Goliath. Remixes that build on the original and take it to entirely new pastures: The momentum continues.

About the Ep :
Flying Circus Recordings wraps up a busy year with the release of The Seven Principles EP, by the Spanish DJ & producer, Squire. Having already released on labels such as Get Physical, Rebellion, My Favourite Robot and Moodmusic, this talented young artist delivers an outstanding trio of tracks, backed by a remix from Olderic.

Featuring a vocal performance from Vette, lead track ‘Lost Again’ is an expansive and haunting deep house workout; its shuffling percussive groove unfurls over the track’s ten minute length as the vocals and organ sounds blend in a terrific wall of sound.

With stellar productions on Connaisseuer Recordings, Compost and Mood Indigo, Italian producer Olderic steps up on the remix. Opting for a brighter atmospheric sound on his remix, the rolling snares and rumbling bass create quite an intense fever that continues to build its tension with rising brassy synths and use of Vette’s vocal.

On ‘Shaker Life’, Squire blends heavy hand percussion and, as the title suggests, plenty of shakers with otherworldly vocal hits and refrains (courtesy of Larde Darde) and electric guitar work for a most unique sound, a psychedelic and progressive take on the house music format. And EP closer, ‘Red Dot’ is a minimal and glitchy mood piece, its lazy groove featuring Squire’s hallmark esoteric sounds.
