Alan Fitzpatrick is back with a three-track EP that encapsulates what Alan’s Drumcode sound is all about. Hard-hitting drums that fire down onto the dance floor like cannon balls. Check! Intense key patterns that are as twisted as they are uplifting. Check! Beautiful melodies that seamlessly interlock with each element. Check! Big-sounding, infectious grooves and killer hooks generously sprinkled with the infamous Fitzpatrick magic over the top. CHECK! In short, this EP is everything we have come to expect from Alan over his long history with Drumcode (this is his 10th EP as a solo artist!), but still his sound remains fresh and super-charged for 2014.

Next one on Tronic is a 2-part collaboration between label head Christian Smith and the Brazilian Wehbba. Part one of the release is the Club version of Believe which is a rhythmic techno track with minimal use of the vocal and maximum groove and the second part is the Warehouse mix of the track which is a peak time slab, loopy, sharp and purposed to shake the floor. With his last EP offering on Keinemusik, &ME displayed himself once again as supplier of anthems that easily reconcile style with general floor purpose. You would think, such an universal and inexhaustible tune as this very “After Dark” can only be a lucky hit. But no, he’s knocking out the classic material just like that. Another example? Catalog number KM028, his brandnew “Trilogy” EP.
The titletrack on A initially places a synth arpeggio behind a kick that in dryness is hardly to excel. The beat of "Trilogy" is then seasoned with rimshot patterns until the saturated bassdrum comes in and paves the way to the dancefloor. &ME even refines his knack for stoic grooves on this jam and once again shows his sure feeling for suitable vocal features. Sabotas croon comes devoid of big gestures and still knows the ropes to appeal to the collective mentality of a clubcrowd.
On the flipside, “Woods” is living up to its name from the very beginning. Woody percussions are thumping within an almost subtropical scenario that’s frequently pervaded by mighty synth clouds. And once again, there’s an arpeggio sneaking in that at some point is taking the lead in this strictly instrumental affair. Add a break building that will educe a floor’s complete euphoric potential without going for the rather mindless escalation and there you have it: a B-side that’s actually more of an A-competitor.

Hypnotising distorted & melodic synths with sweet percussion as a catchy groove topped with a dark progressive edge.

We are honored to premiere one of the sublime remixes on Bird of Paradise's upcoming release Pulse Generator. 

Kieran Holden takes control over the melodic & moody & slow burning title track Pulse Generator. He gives it a cheerful and lively twist making it an infectious & acidic 8O's electro pop alike gem. No pumping beats, no speedy bmp's, but a very nice mid-tempo slice of groove. 


Once so often you come across something very special. Something that's of the beaten track. The Sunderland (UK) based producer Jo Howard who goes under the moniker Bird of Paradise (@birdofparadisemusic) created something special. You'll hear that he is not your usual electronic music producer. With a background in music that goes way back in different styles and genres you will surely hear the impact on this sublime release. It's a release that sounds totally different than we are used to listen to over here at @Tanzgemeinschaft. We are loving it.

The upcoming release Pulse Generator containing 2 originals and 2 remixes will hit the digital shelves pretty soon (27/05). The EP will see the light of day via the Join Our Club imprint. The imprint is know to bring work that sounds a little unexpected.

Hailing from Glasgow, DJ and Producer @dj-james-benedict is rolling. With a few releases up his sleeve in a short period of time, he is on fire. At the end of 2015, James Benedict was selected as one of the top 100 Deep House artists on Traxsource, showing that his hard work and passion for music production is starting to pay off. And it does!!

Soon he'll be dropping a damn fine gem on Barcelona-based imprint @sinnmusik*. The label known for high-quality house tracks already has James Benedikt on the roster for delivering sublime remixes for other artists they have signed. But now it's time for James Benedict to get in the label's spotlight with his damn fine upcoming release. We had a sneak preview and we are more than delighted. 

We get the privilege to premiere one of the tracks. We picked @roman-muhlschlegel 's trippy revision. Roman surely created a damn nice edit of an already fantastic original. It's a bomb!

Hailing from Brussels, young emerging talent Maxime Mattelaer aka Max Telaer (@maxtelaer) releases a 3 track EP 'Secret 19' on the Antwerp-based imprint @gentsndandysrecords.

We get the honor in premiering one of the tracks.

'Looseness' welcomes you with a chunky bass introduction when rich synth tapestries and a soft driving percussion take over. It is a sweaty dancefloor hustle: uptempo with a great vibe and haunting rhythm. This 6 minutes long epic gets one amazingly immersive groove happening over its duration.
