Steyoyoke Black continues to make its presence known and with the wind of success in their sails they charge full steam ahead with their second release, which has already featured in Finnbassen's latest BBC Radio 1 podcast for Pete Tong. The 'Tranquila' EP by Pete Oak features one original and one remix, with Dahu stepping forth for remix duties. 'Tranquila' is an EP that brings together not one, but two princes of darkness who perfectly reflect the sinister sounds now bound to Steyoyoke Black.

'Tranquilla' is an ode to Pete Oak's production skills and is indeed something to be admired. The rhythm is sharp, intense and demanding, with a heavy dose of percussion to help accentuate a strong sense of mystique and power. The bassline rolls and lolls, sucking into a hole of techno driven darkness. 

Dahu's remix can best be described as liquid gold to the ears. He chooses to expose 'Tranquila's underlying attitude and majestic beauty, which makes you want to close your eyes at times to fully absorb its melodic groove. Strings, high hats and layered synths overlap a cascade of chord progressions, that gradually push you to a point of no return.

The idea goes back a few years, but was implemented completely only now for financial reasons. That is why Zeitraffer Records is still at the beginning of its career. Through the long-cherished dream of self- produced and distributed music, individual and diverse sound elements could be collected over the years for music production, which now mark the sound of Zeitraffer Records as unmistakable, fresh and innovative and thus have the potential to be club hits. By deliberately missing collaborations or other influences exercised by third parties, Zeitraffer Records represents original personal sound with recognition value. Tanzprognose, Christian M. was born on Friday, 13. February 1987 in Bochum-Wattenscheid. Since early childhood he was fascinated with musical sounds. Initially, saucepans served as instruments for his musical expression. When he was four years old, his parents encouraged his interest in music by providing him with organ lessons. Within these ten years of organ studies, he took over the musical accompaniment of the Sunday church fairs. Soon, he discovered the electric guitar, which he also learned with great dedication. He had his first band and stage experiences at the age of fifteen. However, the restriction to only one musical instrument and compromise on compositions became more and more unacceptable over time. Through his disillusionment with business and life he had been able to withstand anything, up to the day, at the age of seventeen, when he had his first contact with electronic music. That day changed his life and fulfilled his long-awaited wish to express himself musically. The rhythmic elements and the dramaturgy fascinated him from the very first moment. When he stood in front of a large audience he knew that he would not do anything else in his life. The thought that so many people were connected by electronic dance music gives him goose-bumps even today. The study of digital film, which he started in 2015 at SAE, blended perfectly with his desired career. In 2016, Christian M. founded his own label called Zeitraffer Records.
