Iboga Records proudly presents the first release in our new peak time techno series, curated by Michael Banel. This series brings together both established and emerging artists, capturing the essence of peak time and driving techno. Kicking off the series is a powerful two-track EP, Journey Within / Singularity, from Karim Alkhayat and Núria.

Karim Alkhayat, a Berlin-based DJ and producer, pushes the boundaries of the underground with his dynamic, genre-defying sound. The latest release from Horizons, a London-based producer known for his emotive and organic soundscapes, brings us a beautifully textured journey titled “Come Find Me” This deep, immersive track blends live piano and warm pads, creating a dreamy atmosphere grounded by a sweet yet subtly tense bassline. The soulful vocal layers float gently above the rhythm, evoking both introspection and uplift. At its core, the track was built through live performance—piano and pad textures played in real-time—giving it a raw, heartfelt energy that unfolds naturally. It’s both meditative and dynamic, with subtle shifts in harmony and movement that keep the listener drawn in. The release also features three distinctive remixes from artists within the Patchouli Deep family. Tao Andra is a Romanian artist based in Lisbon. She synthesizes her hyperactive but sensitive personality into her music, blending different genres into her high energy performances. 

Her musical journey began in The Netherlands during her university years. Right away she became completely immersed in the Dutch Techno scene.

She describes the experience as “It feels like you finally find where you belong.”

She started to collect music on vinyl while teaching herself how to DJ. That is a common trait in her life, a lot of her skills are self-taught.

Techno speaks to her hyperactive personality, but sensitive nature. And that is how she builds her sets. The musical journeys she creates are always a mix between high energy, groove and emotional moments.

Her release “Gracias a la Vida” got global attention after Indira Paganotto played her track at MainStage Tomorrowland. In the aftermath, Andra has been featured in the Rolling Stone, CNN, and La Nácion. 

This year,  Charlotte de Witte has also been supporting her music, playing  her track "Brain Train" during the  closing of the MainStage at Tomorrowland. 

Tao Andra has brought her timeless sound to many corners of the world. From Brazil to Australia, Germany to India, Argentina to Japan.
