Munir Nadir is a Maroccan artist now based in Turin. He is one of the resident djs from Outcast Torino, a label and party promoter with a big scene in Italy. 
For this record we worked on two different vibes for each side, A side has a more dark and spooky sound with fast basslines and electro synths, B side sends you into a space journey of house with happy organs and groovy beats.

Plenty of reasons to put this true nugget in your wantlist, so don’t sleep on it..

Local south-London neighbours Baby Rollén & Ollie Rant team up for a three-tracker that launches the off-shoot, white-label of Slump Recordings! Focussed on club-ready, nostalgic UK sounds with a focus on hardware and analogue gear. The three tracks span through influences of breakbeat, UK garage, early jungle, and beyond.

St. Petersburg trailblazer Maruwa, hot off remixing Skream and releasing her recent mind-melting EP Steel City Dance Discs, delivers a stunning remix of the A1 that traverses between phat psychedelic acid and euphoric breakdowns through a peak time weapon that's been doing critical damage through the summer already.

SYSTEM ERROR & FRIENDS UKRAINE FUNDRAISER

In 2021 we did our first label event in Kyiv and we were welcomed with open arms.
The mentality, openness, hospitality and drive of the people we met in Ukraine struck us immediately and that year was the beginning of many new meaningful encounters and the beginning of many new friendships. The offensive war of Russia against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people is a horror we couldn’t have imagined to witness here in Europe in our lifetime. And we still can’t believe that it is happening but had to come to terms with this new cruel reality at the same time.

We thought a lot about what we could do besides helping and supporting our friends personally and in the end it came back to what connected us in the first place and what we do best and passionately, MUSIC! 

For this reason we put together a 23 Track strong compilation from artists from our label, friends labels and friends of friends from all around the world.

A big thank you to all the artists who contributed and also to those who wanted to contribute, we had to close the submissions at some point so we could finish the project.

Further we wanna thank Sasse & Alberto at Black Head Studios for contributing their labor to the project and Mastering the 23 Tracks in record time, Scruffy Studio for creating the Artwork and Zac Bidwell for helping with press and communication as well as to our dedicated System Error label team which put in extra hours to make this happen.

All proceedings from this compilation will be donated to Doctors Without Borders for their help in Ukraine.

CHARITY01 - Ukraine Fundraiser Compilation

With inspirations spanning from Samurai Movies of the 1950's across Hip-Hop from the 80's, to white-labelled tool-techno records and Anime from the 90's, Narciss has catapulted themself into the contemporary hard dance spotlight with a flurry of furious cuts on Lobster Theremin and 1ØPILLSMATE, and now the German producer readies four synth-wavey bops of pop-techno and hardcore on Eurodance Inc.

Staying true to the Eurodance aesthetic, and following one of the year's most well received dance music records in DJ Heartstring’s ‘4 The People’, ‘House Of Pleasure’ displays Narciss’ love for splashes of colour amongst the usually-grey Berlin soundscape. Taking as much influence from the golden-era of trance electronics as it is the Tresor heyday, it’s gradual incline from techno to eurodance is completed on ‘Power To The People’; a cut of deep trance that touches the border of cheese whilst maintaining a headsy, underground appeal.

‘ADHDisco’ is a warped sequence of classic soul nostalgia and high speed futuristic brain-dance that plays out like an alien discovering Northern Soul for the first time, before the classic hardcore synth patterns and unrelenting kicks of ‘Lovechild (LOVE mix) lay the foundation for a soulfully transcendent cut of classic Chicago and hard-house blends.

Phijos is the catch-all alias of Philippus Johan, who hails from Cape Town, South Africa. Confident in the comically broad music taste he’s developed through initiatives he’s helped set up over the years (including The Other Radio, The Other Records, SWIM and Search Festival), he mashes up club edits, bass, italo, jungle, r’nb, breaks and techno into one very energetic cocktail. Don't worry about the ingredients, worry about the garnish: a sleazy and euphoric wedge of queerness to smack your lips on.

He's performed either as Phijos, Phijosindafield (w/ [kevindafield]) or with The Other DJs at a wide gamut of events and clubs, including SPECTRUM, Modular, Mouth2Mouth Festival, Cape Town Electronic Music Festival, Smalltown Beat Festival, The Death of Glitter and Search Festival. He was the host of two radio shows on The Other Radio and has appeared on mixes for Worldwide FM, The Other Radio, Vinyl Factory, High Hoops, Zarabat FM, Mass and Montez Press Radio.
