Avant-garde musician, composer and producer, Suso Sáiz is an imaginative and subtle guitar, creator of unmistakable “hypnotics”. His tireless activity covers a broad spectrum of music and other disciplines, where the interrelation with the plastic arts, theater, films and poetry occupy a prominent place. He has produced more than 100 records and he has played and collaborate with a number of luminary electronic and world music artists. He has published more than 20 albums - the most recent “Odisea” (2016), “Rainworks” (2017) and “Nothing Is Objective” (2019) on the Dutch label Music From Memory (MFM).

Después de un largo período de receso, nos complace presentar el episodio 50 de la serie dirigida por un viejo erudito,  Maurizio Aghemo (aka Icio Omegha). Maurizio es un guitarrista, sitarista y tecladista italiano, una persona que ha estado participando activamente en la música por más de 40 años. Incialmente a principios de los 70 como miembro de la banda World Music U.C.O (Universal Condition Orchestra) - y luego a finales de los 80 formando un dúo electronico con el percusionista Sergio Zamborlini aka Zambo, proyecto  el cual fue más orientado hacia el cosmic rock, el hipnotismo y la música minimal.
Actualmente, Maurizio es un coleccionista de discos y dedica su vida al arte trabajando como pintor, dirigiendo su propia galería de arte en la isla de  Stromboli, su lugar de residencia por mas de 30 años.

Para esta especial ocasion grabó una selección musical muy mágica, fascinante e ilimitada.

After a long period of recess, we are glad to be back to present the episode 50 of the series commanded by an old erudite, named Maurizio Aghemo (aka Icio Omega). Maurizio is an Italian guitarist, sitarist, and keyboard player. A person who has been actively involucrated in music for more than 40 years. First in the late 70's as a member of the world music band UCO - Universal Condition Orchestra - and then during the late '80s forming an electronic duo with the percussionist Sergio Zamborlini aka Zambo,  project more oriented into cosmic rock, hypnotism and minimal music. These days - Maurizio dedicates his life to collect records and works as a painter, running his own art gallery in the Stromboli Island.

For this special occasion, he recorded a very magical, mesmerizing and limitless musical selection.

[TIFMIX03] @cilloman is a dj and one of the founders @floraprotectionunit. His Dj sets are the result of a deep, almost anthropological research work. A journey in continuous search for universal sound, which begins from Africa and crosses Jazz and Disco, inhabits the suburbs of Detroit and touches the new frontiers of contemporary jungle of electronica.

Winter Mix

When I was 11, my dad and I took a summer road trip through Idaho and Montana.
While driving through the mountains, we came to such an elevation that even in the
middle of July, a snowfall began. We stopped the truck at a small lake along the road
as the large flakes gracefully descended. From here, we watched as the snow landed
and evaporated into a thin mist resting on the surface of the water - transfixed by the
strangeness and stillness of the moment. As I journey back through memory, I am
transported to a vision of him standing by the water, camera in hand, quietly observing
the moment.

Oakland-based Tape Ghost, aka David Grunzweig, is an architect of emotional spaces. As both an ambient and techno producer, Tape Ghost’s identity is grounded in a complementary duality. Inspired by Detroit masters like Carl Craig, Robert Hood and Plastikman, Tape Ghost was born as a minimal-leaning techno project in 2015 with a focus on live performance. Adept at curating both live sets and DJ sets, his presence has been felt in the Bay-Area, where he’s thrown parties through the collective Asterisk and supported artists like Call Super, Dr. Rubinstein, Dax J, Mike Gervais, dBridge, and m50.
In 2016, Grunzweig adopted a second project, becoming one half of Night Sea: a dub-tinged, ambient techno outfit. What bridges Grunzweig’s two projects is his purposeful approach to music, which, in his own words, aims to “open a channel for direct emotional connection.” Like a sun fading on the edge of the horizon, his productions are imbued with nuance, stillness and depth, captivating those who listen. Through intentional production and a growing body of work, Tape Ghost has emerged as a vital presence in the burgeoning landscape of electronic music.
