We started working on this track in November 2023, when Edelways revived and completely turned around a raw and neglected demo I had begun and subsequently ignored in November 2022.

Over the past year, with many revisions and tweaks, "Daytrip" has come to life.
It’s a mix of our sounds and styles and a soundscape we’re excited to share.

Working with Edelways has been a great experience - immensely talented and a pleasure to work with.

I'm here with my partner grieving my dear friend Angela AKA Echo. she was a beautiful soul and will be very missed. this song fits perfectly with how I feel about her and our dynamic as friends. RIP Echo you will be greatly missed. this world is actually forever changed from your light when you were here.
