What a great plug in! 

I wish

This is my first official release with my voice in it! I was feeling inspired by Falling Behind by Laufey, and I wanted to incorporate that bossa nova type of rhythm into an upbeat retrowave piece. I started with the chord progression, bass line, and drums, and then the rest came naturally. It wasn't going to have vocals at first, but the instrumental felt too good to not have any. I listened to it in the car and sang along until something stuck, and it ended up being about when I met my incredible partner. Turns out writing lyrics is really easy when you have someone to sing about :) I later recorded what I came up with and ran it through a vocoder. Anyway, because this is chillsynth, I also included the instrumental in the release!

I had a lot of fun with this track and I hope you love it as much as I do!
