Hailing from Potsdam, Germany, we welcome Rill for Podcast #247. The DJ/producer is co-head of the Berlin-based techno label MITSU2000 and @syntop_kollektiv .

With a sound deeply rooted in early 2010s techno, Rill has quickly become a standout figure thanks to his sharp track selection and highly praised productions. With a recent feature on Rødhåd’s fabric mix and a strong discography of his own, he’s shaped a distinct style of brain-melting machine wares paired with precise use of synths and FX. Based in Berlin, Kaan Pirecioglu centers his music on purism and functionality, crafting techno tracks with a hypnotic and timeless character. Kaan’s journey into music production began with his first digital EPs on labels like Platform 22 and Methodical, later evolving with vinyl releases on Schimmer Records and Influenced Records, the latter featuring a remix by Jeroen Search.

With recent EPs on K S R, Float Records and Primordial State, as well as track support from artists like DVS1, Claudio PRC, Efdemin, and many more, Kaan is emerging as a notable figure in today’s techno scene.
