Beat was initially a throwaway but revisited it this week and thought this blend worked well. Sometimes a strong acapella can really take centrestage and I think this one defo achieves that. Beat defo has the party vibe which is why I was struggling with what the remix I think, not too many Hip Hop acapellas that fit this vibe, but Camp Lo defo have that style going for them. Mad underrated group I think, their debut album is crazy. Highly recommended. 

Mad focused on my next album atm, will be new beats and lyrics from me, so lots of the new beats I've been making are ending up on that project. Very excited about it all, feels great to be writing again too, been too long. Hoping to get that done and released sometime after summer.

Imo one of the hardest hip hop tracks ever. Big L's verse is sooo bugged it actually blows my mind every time I hear it. The way he’s rapping is so crazy too, fully screaming into the mic, the punchlines are beyond insane. Everyone else kills it too, all the verses are so over the top in the track, just makes it work so well imo, even the two verses I cut out, including the first ever feature from Jay Z – no disrespect to them the flows just weren't fitting right over the beat. Lord Finesse does mad well to pick up after Big Ls crazy hype verse, comes with that more smooth style but still loads of hard hitting lines that keep the energy up. The last two verses I remixed then really bring it back to that mad over the top horrorcore style, especially Party Arty from Ghetto Dwellaz, he has one of the most rugged voices for emceeing: the stuff he did with Showbiz and AG on their album 'Goodfellas' is insane, fully some of the most hardcore hip hop I've ever heard. Will defo be remixing tracks from that album, I highly recommend it, not very well known but without a doubt a classic East Coast bomb.

Thought this was a perfect beat to remix this track, just has that evil vibe which matches the whole vibe of the acapella too well. The way the horns from the original bleed through and blend with the sample I flipped was crazy to me too. The onyx blend over this beat that I tried in the rhythm roulette video was working too, but I remixed that track fairly recently and wanted to go for something with a really evil over the top vibe, and couldn't think of a better example than Da Graveyard.

Such a great acapella to remix, so much variation throughout the whole song. Was essential to match up the key of the vocals with the melody for the beat, ended up pitching up the acapella by 1 st to get it blending right. I said before with the 50 cent album, remixing his tracks with soulful beats works so well, something about his delivery fits those kind of samples perfectly imo. Been wanting to remix this track for a long time now, but never been able to get a clean sounding acapella. Luckily audio splitters have gotten way way better now, even the free ones: I've been using one called 'Splitter AI' which has been a real game changer. 

Always look forward to this track whenever I listen to Operation Doomsday, such a dope vibe and every emcee brings their own style. Has such a rugged underground energy, feels like a cypher track almost, I don't know why but the verse from Kamackeris always gets me gassed, especially those first 4 lines. I knew if I was ever going to remix this track it would need a certain type of beat, and when I flipped this one I had a feeling it was a good fit for that rugged underground cypher vibe. All the flows fit mad nice over the beat, defo happy with this one. 

For the visuals on my YouTube ( https://youtu.be/htpHPGov_sk ) I mostly used clips from the old Godzilla movies showing each character that the emcees are rapping as: King Caesar, Rodan, Megalon, Kamackeris, King Ghidorah and Kong. I've always found it interesting how deep they went into the lore and characters of those old movies, never actually seen a single Godzilla movie personally. I've always rated the idea of rapping under mad different aliases, obviously DOOM is here rapping as King Gheedorah, but you've also got Mr Fantastik here, I think he's rapping as Rodan. Also for anyone who hasn't heard of it, I defo recommend giving the full album by Monsta Island Czars a listen: 'Escape From Monsta Island' - some of the grimiest underground hip hop both the beats and the flows, crazy stuff. Will defo be looking to remix some tracks from that when I make another beat with this sort of vibe.
