Sample for this is too dope, had to flip it multiple times did quite a bit of layering too for different grooves, there was so much to work with the sample had great basslines and also really nice chimes and high frequency melodies to work with, Distant's defo going to recognise this one hopefully people rate the way I flipped it.

Had this acapella for a long time, thought it was a good fit with this kind of beat. Hard to describe but these late 90s acapellas tend to go well over a beat with this kind of vibe, not too emotional not too hardcore, just a smooth vibe with a strong bassline. This album from High & Mighty is mad dope too imo and still pretty underrated, one of the many many gems to come from the Rawkus era, such a great label for underground Hip Hop - Black Star and Funcrusher Plus come to mind as some absolute classics, there's many many more too.
