This was a very last minute addition to the album and I'm really glad I got it worked out. Originally I was going to remix this acapella over the 'Death Penalty' beat, going for a much darker hardcore vibe. That was cool and it definitely worked to some extent, but I think it was too similar to later tracks in the album and I wanted to explore a few different styles and sounds. I was digging through some disco/funk records and when I heard this, I instantly knew I had to flip it, didn't really think about what acapella would go over it. When I tried this acapella I knew I had to make this the final remix, it really fit the playful vibe to the lyrics and acted as a nice breath of fresh air in the album I think.
