Really glad I got to include this beat in the album, one of my personal favourites. Tearz is such a sad song but I really wanted to drive home that emotion with a heavy beat, to match the fierce delivery throughout the tracks, I love how hoarse RZAs vocals get to the point where he's almost screaming, especially the way he delivers 'I wish I had a chance to say these three words', you can really feel the pain in his voice and I wanted the beat to reflect that.

Wanted to go for that hardcore vibe here but in a more subtle way - I can't quite place it but the atmosphere and feel to this sample got me thinking of this acapella, I thought it would be a nice remix which went in a different direction to the very stripped back rugged original.
