Hightop really snapped on this beat, it was crazy cause he dropped it in the lead up to Christmas 2024, and I had the busiest day ahead of me, I think I only managed to write the hook as soon as I heard the beat, then had to be out, then got back with 30 minutes to write before I had to be out again, and just got the whole song written asap cause I had so many ideas and just wanted to be playing the beat on repeat. Was really on my mind the whole day. This is defo one of my favourite verses I've written I really rate the abstract kind of lines but feel like it does get to the point.

And man if that wasn't enough Distant then came through in the new year and absolutely snapped on the video, craziest one we've done imo. As soon as I made this track I knew I had to change up the mask for the video and I'm gassed with how it looks. I work in a theatre so we just shot there after hours, the way the lighting was reflecting off the lens of Distants camera was so crazy, gave the visuals this really hazy smoky feeling which is exactly what I wanted to happen I just didn't think it would be this crazy.
