I went on a bit of a Bandcamp and Discogs binge about a year back and these records reflect both the style I was digging around then and what was available more locally. It’s a venn diagram of mid tempo breaks and electro, spiced with some nice 4/4 action towards the end. I tend to buy records in bursts of enthusiasm around a particular sound, so this mix is a really nice snapshot of a particular time for me musically. There’s a warmth to these kinds of productions that really comes through in the format.
