2008.
Single-handedly pioneering the psytech sound in South Africa with his infamous
Into the Wild and With You Festival events going back to 2016.
Playing all major festivals in South Africa, he has now begun his journey abroad
playing Ozora Festival in Hungary, Modem Festival in Croatia, New-Healing in
Germany, Son Libre in France, Mind Boggling Tunes in London, just to name a few.
With a passionate approach to dj-ing backed up by over a decade of production
experience, his sets include many of his own tracks alongside a careful selection

of his other influences, creating uniquely blended sets, you will never hear a sec-
ond time.

Tarik started spinning the wheels of steel at 16, blending vinyl like a shadow technician. By 19, he dove into production, chasing sounds through Reason and Cubase before finding his soul in Ableton Live—his true home DAW.

Known as the first to remix a remix, Tarik doesn’t just reinterpret tracks—he reshapes the reshaped. Every piece is a re-evolution, a sonic echo that bends back into the now.

Inspired by legends like Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, Luke Slater, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Yan Cook, and Røhad, his style is a fusion of pulse, grit, and raw emotion—always shifting, always mixing.

Early mixes were surgical—3 minutes deep, non-stop transitions. Now, Tarik pushes the art even further: Remix of a Remix (Rrmx) is more than a technique—it's a statement. A code. A legacy in the making.
